Shaggy Hound is a family owned business, run with love and care. The business originally started by Ms. Kathy (the dogs know her as Aunt Kathy) nearly a decade ago. Massey is a certified groomer. The office is run by Ms. Kathy's sister, Ms. Debby - so as you can see it really is a family affair! We can't wait to meet you and your precious pup!

CHLOE NOWELL🗽❄️🎾🙅‍♀️🛁🎂💗💗💗💗
Chloe is a White Lab that looks like a fluffy coconut cake! 🥥🎂When you first meet Chloe, she is scared because she thinks you’re going to give her a bath! 🙅‍♀️🛁 But once you prove yourself trustworthy (which may take hours or days depending on how suspicious you act), she’s rolling on her back demanding belly rubs!! 🥰🥰 When it’s time to come out and play, Chloe always does a BIGGGG stretch and starts playing!! She prefers to play inside with her bestie Bennett, but once she’s outside she will go crazy for the ball and throw her body around like the densest snowball you can imagine. ❄️🎾 Chloe is very stout and strong, so her bouncing around the yard like a pinball is quite the event! And the whole time she is flying around, she is making the funniest faces!! 🤪😜😝But once she is done playing, she will sit as still as a statue; there is no middle ground. 💗🗿🗽💗
Chloe, we love your spunkiness for love and the way your wriggle around like a worm when you get butt scratches. We love to walk in and see you sitting there with your paws crossed and your lips stuck on your teeth! Bella Rae is a Black Lab who has a passion for ball and great leash manners!! She is as sweet as carob pie and loves alllll the attention! 🖤🥧🖤And DON’T try to steal any attention away from her! When Bella Rae is outside, we are able to see her passion for fetch!! ❤️🎾❤️She may be a little older, but that does not slow her down when she zipping and zooming around the yard after the ball! When she’s not playing ball, she loves to sit next to her daycare teachers or bark at other dogs who are playing with balls!! 🤭We like to think that Bella Rae’s world is ball and she is the Ball Queen of the ball world and as Ball Queen she is owed all the love and cuddles!!! 🥰👑🎾🌎🥰

SOPHIE BURKE 👑🫶🥰🤍👸💖💖💖
Sophie is a Collie/GSD mix who is sweet as pie. When she first comes in in the morning, she jumps up and puts her paws on you so gently and does a big stretch while you pet her!! After she is done saying hi to her daycare teachers, IT’S PLAYTIME!!! Sophie LOVES to play and is automatic best friends with anyone and everyone who also plays!! Sophie’s favorite way to play is to chase and be chased! That’s why we call her the ZOOMIE QUEEN👑👑👑 and just like a queen, Sophie has the perfect balance of playfulness and gentleness to bring nervous dogs out of their shells on their first days!!! 🫶🥰🫶 Another thing we admire about Sophie is her impressively wide vocal range!! She has two barks: the pay attention to me bark and the I’m gonna get you bark! These are soprano barks and tenor barks respectively 🎤🎶❤️
Sophie, you are truly such a beautiful and kind girl. Chloe is a Scnoodle with an infinite amount of vitality and spirit!! ✨❤️‍🔥✨ Khloe is the highest jumper (she even won first place in the leap day jumping contest!) and the fastest runner of all the small dogs!! When she is at Shaggy Hound, she plays nonstop and wants all the toys! She loves chasing a ball, chewing on a bone, and playing tug of war!!! Her favorite playmate is Tofie because they play alike and look alike!!! Twinzies!!! 👯‍♀️⭐️👯‍♀️ Khloe is also so smart!🧠 We know this because she is so good at stealing treats!!! 😹😹😹 Khloe’s secret power is the power of flight! As soon as she gets near small each morning, she wriggles her grand escape and soars through the air! She remarkably and impressively sticks the landing and immediately begins playing!!🥰🤗
