Remember when I told you Angel had to have a tooth extraction?

This my friends is why if you get a horse you need to take care of your horse! This poor mare has been in pain for YEARS! She had an infection that was neglected and untreated.

The front tooth is what an extraction should look like. That back tooth, that's bone attached from being left untreated.

We are so thankful for Dr. Caity and Emily at South Mountain Equine. Angel is hopefully on her way to being pain free ❤️

Another exciting thing we rescued two new horses 😍

Introducing Angel, the Paint horse and Pheonix, the Thoroughbred .

Both were no longer able to be cared for by their previous owner and definitely were in need of TLC.

Our vet at South Mountain Equine, Dr. Caity, came out and was able to fo a full exam. They got their teeth floated and Angel needed some antibiotics for an infection in her mouth. This week she'll be getting her bad teeth extracted.

Friday our wonderful farrier, Samantha Moats came and gave them a MUCH NEEDED hoof trim!

I think its time for an Ark Farm update!!

We are always working hard to keep improving things for all the animals.

We had NeatScape Landscaping cut down all the dead Sumac trees, grind stumps and burn all the debri. Come Spring the horses will be so happy with all the extra room to run and graze.

We built a new buck pin for Hesay amd a quack shack for the ducks!

So Happy had a blessed day and was able to tackle this closing and gate mounting for the donkeys to stay dry and Jenny to have a place when it’s time for her baby . Jenny and Jack 😊 looking cozy ,, let’s just say is was not effortless to get them re trained to go in here.
