**Update:🐱💪 We have great news about Sam and Dean! They were released from the hospital on Monday to continue their recovery in their foster home. With their fevers gone, everyone is feeling better about their futures. The outpouring of community support has been amazing! Your encouragement and generosity have played a crucial role in their journey to wellness. We truly extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed. Together, we make a difference!

Friends, we need your help. We are reaching out with an earnest plea on behalf of two adorable kittens who need your support. These kittens were found at a large cat colony, struggling to survive on their own. A caring volunteer, who was there for a TNR (trap-neuter-return) project, noticed their dire condition and knew they needed immediate support.

Sam and Dean are now hospitalized, bravely battling unspecified fevers, dehydration, and skin issues. As a small organization, the HSSBC relies heavily on donations and community support to care for our furry friends. The costs associated with Sam and Dean's medical care are significant for us. Despite our best efforts, the financial burden of meds and hospital stays for these two and surgeries for others has placed us in a difficult position. We are committed to providing the best possible care for them, but we cannot do it alone!

Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly towards covering the medical expenses of Sam and Dean. Your generosity will help ensure they receive the treatment they need to lead healthy, happy lives.

Statesboro’s Boro Chili Fest made a flavorful comeback at the The Market at Statesboro Visitor’s Center. The event combined a lively chili cook-off, local artisan booths, and warmhearted generosity to support the Humane Society of Statesboro and Bulloch County.

What a whirlwind of a couple of weeks it's been! From Chili Cook-offs and Bingo Nights to Thrift Store Sales and adoption events, we've been busy!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone in our wonderful community who has joined us in these activities. Your support and presence means the world to us. As we stay busy this holiday season, we can't forget who we are doing this for – the animals. 🐾🐾

We take in animals, either from owner-surrenders, the Animal Shelter, & sometimes they are born in our care! We provide all of their medical care, food, toys, & anything else they may need. Once they are ready, we help find their forever homes!!
