This is my previous ad from Asher- all is still basically the same minus not being in shape. He is an all around wonderful horse, but the young girl who he was bought for is getting out of rodeo so he needs a new human. He is truly a wonderful boy! So quiet and fun to ride. He’s been hauled regularly in youth rodeos and done well for her.

“Asher” is a 2011 gray QH gelding

Nothing bad to say about this big boy! He is handy, youth friendly, safe, and fun!
Currently getting legged back up due to owner pregnancy but is coming back super nice! He doesn’t have a care in the world. Laid back, easy going, happy guy. Shod on the front. Easy keeper, no known soundness issues. Regular maintenance. Owner runs on lasix.
Knows barrels poles and is started roping, not finished. Runs barrels to the left. I have hauled him all over the last couple weeks and thrown kids on him and he is a saint. No alley issues. No quirks. Stalls and hauls quietly. He’s not going to go win it all but he’s going to take care of you or your kid! I would not put a “beginner” on any barrel horse so please don’t ask about that. A handy youth ready to roll, perfect. Trail rides. Walks on loose rein. Runs in a Kathy James reverse gag with a loose tie down.

Currently in statesville Nc and hauling with me to jackpots. Owner would like a good home top priority but would like to get him sold in a timely manner. Pm with any additional questions.

Large Outdoor arena with barrels jumps and poles
Small covered for all weather riding! Attached to barn so never get wet!

Lessons onsite
Outside trainers welcome WITH insurance
Vet and farrier scheduled with barn but welcome to have your own!

Did you know we offer overnight stays for travelers?! We will have freshly bedded stalls with clean water ready for your arrival! Of course proper health documents are required, so please have those!

Conveniently located right off 77 in Statesville. (We are on google maps)

So after riding “Shorty” here’s a few details:
He’s definitely “a rope horse” (he only gets his left lead willingly, probably all he’s ever known)
He’s “snorty” on the ground and blows at about everything. Hes watchy towards people, but not dangerous. Was great to saddle and ride. Trail rides fine and I do not know how good of a rope horse he is but going to work on finding out.

*papers are posted but we are waiting to get them in hand*
If this interests you, I do have videos. Owner is working on getting the papers from a previous address. But he is 14 or 15. Registered Dunn gelding.

JW ZOOM BAYOU aka Tess

Tess is a 2011 sorrel mare
Quiet, gentle, easy to handle! Tess is lightly started in barrels and doing great. She is incredibly kind and a fun ride! Although started in barrels I do believe she could go any direction. She is shod all the way around and stands great for farrier. Hauls well, she does need to turn around to get off but hauls great. Great in the field with others mares or gelding.
