🥹 A client I haven't seen in almost a year reached out and asked if it was okay if their daughter gave Slug a sweet treat they had picked out for him. We coordinated schedules to line up so he could get his treat and for the pups to play. Her daughter also also drew a picture of him while we were there, His Halloween bandana and all 😭🥹🫶 I love my clients

Socialization as far as dog training
goes means neutrality in different situations. Many dogs struggle to be neutral in unfamiliar territory. We will be in Christmas parades in a couple of weeks and it was important to me to socialize Slug to these costumes as he will most likely be around many of them and while surrounded by crowds.
