Lundberg Siberians

Lundberg Siberians We breed for low allergen levels and raise our kittens as part of the family, one litter at a time. Testing kittens is both difficult and expensive.

This is the social page for Lundberg Siberians -- a place to follow along as we raise our litters, and to share photos and mini-stories about the kittens who then became part of your family. "Is *that* kitten available?" If a specific kitten becomes available without a reservation, we'll let you know! Otherwise, we place our kittens with families on the reservation list, with a typical wa

it time of 6-12 months. We allergen-test most of our litters, and kittens are placed based on a combination of allergen level and a family's position on our reservation list. KittenTesting.com and UC Davis spent five years stabilizing the tests for use in kittens. About 15% of Siberians test in the lowest two allergen ranges. Even the lowest mating can still produce normal allergen kittens. Currently there are 8 catteries listed on the Testing website that are licensed to test allergen levels in kittens. Our prices for tested kittens are similar to theirs. When we receive an inquiry through our website for an area we don't ship to, as a courtesy we refer families to the closest other cattery that tests kittens. Two of us share page management: Chris raises litters in Portland. Sarah occasionally raises a litter, and does the final photography set for most litters. We reserve the right to block unpleasantness of any kind.

Let's talk Tinsel! (Kitten pic of Tchai just to get your attention. :) )
Some of you might be getting Christmas trees now, so I thought it would be a good time for a reminder: tinsel can be deadly if cats swallow it. Choose safe decorations!

Have a great weekend!

Ignatius (with the giant toy) and Iggy. They're about six weeks old (these pics are from last week), and are having a grand time playing, exploring, and getting cuddles from their human family.

(All of our kittens are sold. If you're interested in future litters -- we are accepting applications for families with no cat allergies and mild/moderate reactions to cats. Our waitlist is full for very/extremely low kittens. See www.LundbergSiberians.com/reservations.)

Here's the I litter at one month old! We'll be doublechecking genders this week, but there are either one or two boys and two or three ORANGE GIRLS! This takes red (orange) genetics on both sides, so we haven't had it for a while.

Iceman, on the left, has white bib and boots, so he's easy to tell apart. Ivory, second from the right, is a lighter, creamier orange. Iggy and Ignatius (girls) are easier to tell apart in person. They'll get collars soon so you'll be able to distinguish them in photos.

These kittens are roly-poly and happy, getting lots of cuddles from the host family's girls (and parents).

We are accepting applications, and expect at least one of these darling red tabbies to be available to a new waitlist family. 11/6/2024. See www.lundbergsiberians.com/reservations

Note Dec2024: All kittens are sold.
At not-yet-three-weeks, kittens' eyes can't focus yet, which can give them a bit of a wild look... but that doesn't stop them from being cute!

The dark tabbies are girls. The boys look like "cream" -- light red -- tabbies. (They have different genetics than the I litter, and creams are slower to show color, so it's a little hard to tell, but they're getting warmer and warmer in color.)

The boys are Jiminy Kitten and Jester. The gray tabby is Juno. The black (warm) tabby is Jellicle.

PS: The J litter is part of my family, so you'll see their pictures more than the I litter. The I kittens are gorgeous red tabbies! More on them later.
