We were recently asked what should someone do if they feel a dog is being neglected? This is a hard question,but something we thought was worth sharing.

IF ANYONE EVER FEELS THAT AN ANIMAL IS BEING NEGLECTED YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO BE THEIR VOICE. 💛

However, it is important that you consider your safety as well as the safety of the animal(s). If possible, we would suggest that you start with a civil conversation. If that is not an option please follow the instructions we have provided.

Remember every case is different. You are not alone and there is help available. YOU GOT THIS!! 💛🐾

A lot of people think it’s okay to run up to dogs and just start petting them. The truth is, it’s not. Please make sure you ask for permission and don’t ever pet a dog without consent. 💛

Introducing, Lady!💛
Lady is Three Yellow Dogs’ Dog of the Month. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Lady is approximately 4 years old. She is a mixture of sugar and spice and everything nice!! 😊

Lady was given a second chance at life when she was adopted by a sweet couple a few years ago. Her original family adopted her during the pandemic, but brought her to the shelter once they had to go back to work. 🥺 Thank goodness for second chances.

Three Yellow Dogs is so happy that you are our Dog of the Month and that you found a family that adores you.
