We didn’t reach all the goals we set for the year, but I am very happy with my horses and excited for the coming year’s derbies. So here are some highlights from this fall.

Fence work was solid in Fort Worth 217.
Raising up the next generation to love cow horses is where it’s at. My 5-year-old daughter had her first flag lesson on Rex this week. We’re excited to see where this takes her.
The Colorado Reined Cowhorse Association once again put on a stellar Firecracker Show in Douglas, Wyoming, drawing large classes and competitors from all over. We couldn’t have asked for more from our horses. All our clients went home with great results, checks, and more great runs on their horses.
👑 Reysin Royalty, owned by Cross Performance Horses, & Andy placed 🥉 in the Intermediate Open Derby and 6th in the Open Derby.
💫 Hannas Metallic Rey & Denille LePlatt entered up in the Non Pro and made their first fence run in the show pen. They made it count with 🥇 in the Limited Non Pro Bridle Spectacular and 🥇 in the Limited Non Pro Bridle.
✨ Ima Metallic Shine and Niamh Sexton marked a 149 in the cow work on their way to finishing 🥉 in the Non Pro Boxing Spectacular. They were also 🥇 in the Non Pro Boxing.
🎲 Moms Last Bett & Ralsten LePlatt had another great show winning the Youth Boxing circuit with a 🥇 & 🥈 place. They were also 4th in the Limited Non Pro Boxing.
💪🏽 Assistant Madie Weber got her first cowhorse show under her belt on CR Tuff Boons.

Our futurity horses had their maiden show voyage last weekend at the Utah Reined Cow Horse Association Futurity. It was a great show to cruise them through the three events and build their confidence in the show pen.
Assistant Austin W. Smith showed in his first futurity & garnered his first NRCHA earnings on Sues Betterstarlight, owned by Cross Performance Horses, finishing 5th in the L1 Open.
