What is a Vet Tech?
A vet tech is a nurse, an anesthesiologist, an X-ray technician, a surgery assistant, a dental hygienist, a loving hand, a pharmacist, a teacher, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to cry with, a sucker for a fuzzy face, a lover of all pets, a face to lick, and a mediator.

A vet tech is also a veterinarian’s best friend, a pet’s best friend, a baby sitter, a physical therapist, a chew toy and a protector.

They can make the pain go away, save a life, see what’s wrong, ease a mind, and give kisses and hugs!

They have a big heart, a strong stomach, a thoughtful mind, an education, the strength to do what is right, even if it hurts and the deepest love for all creatures.
We are forever grateful for our Vet Techs and assistants!

This is Arthur and he is a 7 year old mixed breed and he is in search of a new home. He was adopted from RCHS about a year and a half ago. He is very sweet but has had abuse in his past so he can be aggressive at times (especially towards men). His current owner has a new baby and they are worried about aggressive outbreaks. Due to his past they do not want to surrender to a shelter, he is very sweet and a timid dog who just needs a little extra care. They are looking to re-home, especially to someone who is capable of working with him and getting him more comfortable.
