This is an Introduction to K9 Nosework Seminar

Three professional K9 handlers who have worked in law enforcement and the military developed this companion dog sport, so that our pet dogs can use their amazing talent to find a specific scent. Once they learn to search out that scent for us, we add in new environments. We call them “elements”. Our companion dogs learn to find the specific scent in 4 different elements including Containers, Vehicles, Interiors, and Exteriors.

Find out if nose work is for you and your canine buddy! This one-day workshop is an introduction to the sport of K9 Nose Work®. The National Association of Canine Scent Work is the sanctioning body for K9 Nose Work® trials. My certification was earned through the NACSW and I conduct classes and workshops on a regular basis.

This workshop will introduce participants to the sport of K9 Nose Work®. It does not prepare students for professional or medical working teams. That requires specific professional training. This workshop will teach the skills to begin training for nose work as a sport. Even if you have no desire to “compete” or “trial” you will have the skills to play amazing nose work games with your dog.

There will be 10 working spots and others are welcome to audit.
