Routt County Horse Rescue in Steamboat Springs, CO, is a Non-Profit 501-3-C that provides homes for horses in need and supports the coummunity here in Northwestern Colorado. As a the first horse recuse in the Steamboat Area, we take pride in offering the homes for horses in need. We are dedicated to serving the needs of our communtity each and every day. We have a forever loctaion for the horses w

ho need our help. Our mission is to rehabilitate, train, and make each horse who comes to us useful in some way, so that we can then place it in a forever home. After being quarantined, rehabilitated and trained the horses join our riding lesson program. They teach lessons to all ages, abilities and walks of life. We are an inclusive riding center and use older or less sound horses for our programs with special needs individuals. We offer lessons Monday- Saturday, Spring -Fall.

This female bird seems to be a Yellow headed blackbird- they make the ugliest, strangest noises. She’s hoping that a male hears her and joins her on the ranch, I’ve never had this breed before. Any advice on how to lure her a friend? (Yes I put out birdseed)

Introducing Preschool Pony Club- This program will be offered for 2.5 hours, once a week for kids ages 3-5 who would like a fun horsey encounter! Kids will groom, have a little ride, and do an age appropriate horsey activity.
