🌟🐴 Welcome to the Herd, Silver! 🐴🌟

We’re excited to introduce Silver, an 11-year-old grey Quarter Horse gelding, as the newest member of the Power of Hope herd! Silver is a gentle soul with a kind heart, and we know he’s going to be an incredible asset to our program.

A special thank you to Mill Iron E Horses for their exceptional work in training Silver and for making it possible for him to join our herd. We’re so grateful for their dedication to creating amazing horses like Silver!

From his calm demeanor to his willingness to connect with everyone he meets, Silver is already proving to be a perfect fit. We can’t wait to see him create special moments with our participants and become a beloved part of the Power of Hope family.

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a beloved member of the Power of Hope herd, Donk.

Donk was more than just a companion; he was a gentle soul who brought joy, comfort, and plenty of smiles to everyone lucky enough to meet him. We are so grateful for the many years he spent with us, living a long and happy life filled with love, care, and companionship.

Though our barn feels a little emptier without him, his spirit will forever remain a part of our herd and our hearts. 💔

Meet the Team: Millie Schmidt

Many of you already know and love Millie, but it’s time for an official introduction! 🐴

Millie has been with Power of Hope for about a year now, serving as our Director of Veterans and First Responders’ Program. As an EAGALA Certified professional in Equine-Assisted Growth and Learning, she’s passionate about supporting those who have served our communities and our country.

When she’s not making a difference through her work, Millie enjoys team roping and spending time with her horse, Brownie Bites, and her loyal dog, Baskin.
