Well if you seen our post a few weeks back. You know the last winter storm put us in the dark for 4 full days.
We had 2 incubators rocking and rolling with geese, duck, and chicken eggs.

Lock down had commenced a few days ago and we are proud to say hatching had begun.

So far we have 4 geese that hatched. The ducks will take a bit longer as muscovys take 35 days to hatch not 28.
But super excited either way. And overjoyed that our lil heating setting during the black out worked to keep our babies viable; many were not so lucky and lots of peep peeps were lost..

Everything isn't always sunshine and rainbows.
Our black otter rexes both had beautiful nest and healthy babies. Mean while the new silver fox momma wasn't quite as productive. She had a huge litter but didn't pull fur.. so we are warming babies with the incubator. (4 made it)
Remember with bunnies they must be warm to determine if they have passed or not.

Well we are over 24hrs no power. Possibly be on tomorrow or the next day.
Linecrew is working so hard to get it back on and the lines back up. THANK YOU!!!
We have make shift incubators rocking to keep our peep peeps growing.
All the other animals are safe, warm and dry. So we will continue to wait this out.
Bingo however says he isn't coming out until spring. He says he identifies as a groundhog now. Grounddog if you will.

Incubator filled with geese (african & brown chinese) and duck(muscovy) eggs. Incubators 2-4 will have serama, orpington and brahma.
