Kim's Kennel Hours by Appointment. Located 6.5 miles east of Daggett. Things to bring or have available for boarding your pet(s). Current vaccination records.

From your vet, tags are not enough. Your pet needs to be current on Rabies and DHLPP. Bordetella is recommended but can NOT be given within 2 weeks of boarding. Bordetella is for canine cough also poorly labeled as kennel cough. Canine cough is a respiratory issue. Some dogs are more susceptible than others. Bring your own food, I don't like to switch your pets normal diet. Boarding is stressful

enough without switching foods. Pre measuring your pets food is great but not necessary. I use a measuring cup for feeding. If your pet is only staying the weekend, a 50 pound bag is not necessary. An ice cream bucket will be plenty. A blanket from home works. Full size beds are not recommended. We do have raised beds and blankets available. There is no need to bring dishes, we also have those available. Treats and toys are welcome. Any medication needs to be properly labeled.

The Wonders of Wick. We went to the Pet Expo in Green Bay, Wicks first experience in a crowded area of dogs and people....

The Wonders of Wick. We went to the Pet Expo in Green Bay, Wicks first experience in a crowded area of dogs and people. He was very well behaved, observant, intrigued, and polite. (Yes! He really was polite! Lol he didn't jump on anyone! ) No barking, whining, pulling. The only thing that seemed to bother him in the least was a man playing guitar. So because that's not ok, we circled around a time or two for him to adjust. Before we left he was sitting next to the man listening to the guitar. We sent him through the Loop trail, it's an area with a cable with something attached that they chased. He enjoyed that very much. All in all for a 9.5 month old he was better behaved than 75% of the other dogs there. So my hard work is paying off, he still carries the name of f@ #%/>@ @$$%@!= but I'll keep him around until he departs this earth, or takes me out in the meantime. Oh, Miss Torie, how you spoiled me.
