PAYDAY is the last yearling that is looking for a permanent placement. He needs a patient human to help encourage him out of his shell and build his confidence. He has a sweet personality, is treat motivated, loves water, and has been around livestock.

Well it’s the end of an era…

B&J Precious Rosie is spayed and retired, and currently resting comfortably on the couch. To those of you that have had the pleasure of owning a puppy of hers, love them with all your heart!

Both her, and VCR - Loretta’s Star of the Show are both now spayed and retired here at Oceanwood. They were the first two Australian Shepherds I had used for this program, and they both are happily retiring to the couch with a treat in between their paws.

I do have a blue merle daughter I have retained out of AKC VCR - Loretta’s Star of the Show and Hall of Fame AKC GCH CH/ASCA CH Dancer’s Cash Cartel CD HSAds ATDd OTDsc OFTDs ROMX I&II DNA-VP to carry on Polaris’s pedigree here, as well as a red tri son by Silverwood Flambe’ of Limelite.

Oceanwood’s Top it Off, Star Fire De La Ribera Norte - Argentina, and LK Michigan Legacy’s Give me a Break are the three bi***es still remaining in this program with potential to produce future litters that truly represent the integrity of the breed.

My program has certainly shifted course since starting in regard to what I’m looking for in an Australian Shepherd that I produce - and I have met some MUCH better mentors along the way to redirect the course of breeding pairing. There’s no shame in admitting I’ve made mistakes with some of my choices in this program - and with every choice I’ve noted what to do better. The point first and foremost should always be to BETTER THE BREED.

Here’s to a new chapter. Love your dogs always. They are around for a short time in your life, and you’re around for the entirety of theirs. 🐾

This is not a female I intended on placing, but I have fallen behind on my plans with her and never got her in the show ring as originally intended. I’m in the process of moving and have some serious life stuff affecting my program, so I am looking to place her in a PERMANENT home. I would consider someone else’s program because of how nice of a b*tch she is, or we can discuss spaying if she’s going to a perfect family home. She is extremely sweet, has the typically shy Aussie personality until she gets to know you - then she’s a fireball. She is extremely athletic (you better have a secure fence or be very attentive), because she’s jumped a 6 foot fence to follow me to the horse barn on numerous occasions. She has been an easy dog to get along with everyone. She’s been around one kid and was fine with him, and has been around both cattle and horses. She needs a home where she will be loved on! She also is a water dog and loves swimming. She often jumps in the horse troughs.
