Elliot’s size and build, at 16 hands and 1400 pounds, make him a solid and substantial horse, perfect for a wide range of activities while being gentle enough for anyone! At just 4yrs old age, this draft cross is family friendly and very easy to ride or drive. Elliot is well broke to ride and to work double or single. He has been used to pull carriages and give wagon rides at the Canadian festivals! He has been ridden by youth riders and will trail ride quietly for anyone who can ride a “point & shoot” type!.. He catches his leads, jogs and lopes nice circles! Elliot will cross any depth of water and he is not spooky. Elliot is has more whoa than go but isn’t suborn! He is traffic safe on the roads and unphased by large crowds and noisy surroundings. He unloads in new places quietly and rides off collected and calm. He loves to work and truly has a pleasant agreeable personality that makes him everyone’s barn favorite. He is super versatile. You can work cattle, trail ride, shown him at the hitch classes, take him on a wagon train, or skid some logs out of the woods. He is a great horse with lots of training at a young age, sense, ability, and a ton of heart. 100% sound & UTD on everything!!
