Miss Stella was not feeling the tying session tonight…🤦🏻‍♀️

It is very important to me that all of my horses know how to tie and will stand quietly, even if most of them are “just” broodmares. Tonight Stella had a brush up on tying since it’s been a while, Hera worked on tying (AND BLANKETS!!!) and the new yearling who I have I’ll share with everyone soon worked on tying as well. Hopefully soon everyone will either master it or have a good refresher!!

Out of all my girls I’ve always had the hardest time connecting to these two, Hecate and Indian.
Hecate can be a bit of a wild card, you never quite know what you’re going to get from her at any given moment. Sometimes it’s a sweet loving mare, and others it’s the queen of sass with a side of rough and tumble, or it could be the side of her that wants to be Alpha over everyone.
Then there’s Indian, she usually keeps to herself and has a gentle way about her, she usually stays close to a Pandora and Cuervo who have personalities that often times over run hers. Every now and then she will also throw the “fish eyes” your way that make her seem like she’s out of her mind crazy, but I promise she’s not… sometimes she just isn’t all there!
Here’s to the horses that can be hard to connect with, may they make you stronger, may they make you a better horsewoman/horsemen; may they teach you well. 💚
