If you are looking for someone to take photos of you and horse or just photos in general. Equine Essence Imagery did a wonderful job and she was fun to hang out with that day. Chrome looked amazing and so did Eli. Though chrome let us know he was done when he bucked once lol. One photo is right at the end of him doing his small buck with his hind end lol

We will take the 50 degrees today. Everyone got blankets off for a bit and got a good brushing. My sweet boys.

Beautiful evening ride yesterday. Can't tell you the last time we rode outside the arena. Working on getting that confidence back. Last time we rode outside the arena we had some issues such as rearing and just acting up. My confidence took a nose dive. We have been doing so much better.

Hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas. Things have been busy here due to fall baseball travel team, basketball and then a family emergency. Now things have slowed down a bit and we are starting to get into a new routine. In the new year one of my goals is to get back to posting.

No seriously. ... we are so thankful we've had a couple days here and there of rain. So far looks like hay fields have gotten maybe a 2nd cutting. Fingers crossed this helps brings in another cutting. We sure are enjoying the cool down for a moment.

Well it is that time of year. Put out my first round bale. Also time to start shopping around for where I'll get my winter supply. So far looks like everyone local has gotten some good cuts in so far. Don't worry he hasn't made a dent on the round bale by himself lol he has helped from two of his friends.

Chrome and I have been consistently riding since Saturday. He has been doing so good. We had one moment of a good spook across the arena. It was the first time in a long time i didn't feel like I needed to get off and do ground work. I was able to ride it out and finish the ride on a good note. Last night we did a lot of trot and lope transitions. He did so good about not getting futrated and waited for me to ask instead of trying to rush. I don't know about him but I am sleeping really well at night.
