This week we are going over which shoes we choose for each event in rodeo.
We like to use rim shoes on the fronts and keg or plain shoes on the hinds for barrel horses and sometimes heel horses. The rim front shoes aid in q good grip for turning a barrel or taking off out of the box. The keg shoes on the hinds helps the hind end pivot around the barrel with a little forgiveness. They also dont grab too much for a heel horse stopping.

Sometimes when horses lose shoes they can take hoof wall with it. Hoof repair by Vettec Hoof Care makes it an easy fix.
