Please join us for our fundraiser. It starts now! 😺🐶

We’re excited to introduce our “Cartoon Your Pet” fundraiser, where you can turn your pet into a delightful cartoon AND provide funding for the rescue. This would make a great gift for that animal lover in your life.

A dedicated animal advocate and volunteer for several rescues creates these adorable and colorful works of art for a minimum donation of $20 per pet. Remember, these are not a pawtrait of your pet, but rather a whimsical, colorful interpretation of your pet.

The artist is accepting orders from October 7, 2024 to October 11, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

How it Works:

1.You can pay Cat Tail Kitties Rescue via Paypal @ [email protected]

2. Submit several clear, front facing photos of each pet by messaging Lisa on Facebook messenger at Lisa Gould Portenga (preferred method) or emailing her at [email protected].

Also submit a screenshot of your payment so Lisa is aware that you have paid. Please do not use screenshots for photos as they do not provide enough details.

Please include your chosen background color and also a note with your pet's name and your preference of block or script lettering if you would like that added. Lisa has many options of both to choose from and will send those to you to choose from once photo(s) are received.

3. Lisa will create a digital cartoon image (jpeg) of your pet and message or email that to you. NO PRINTING will be involved on our end, this way you can print whatever size you want and the image is yours to use however you wish! Turn around time will vary but plan on at least 24 – 48 hours. Lisa also offers magnets, stickers, keychains and glass cups with your cartoon image if you would like to purchase those from her.

Your participation directly helps all of the animals at the rescue and will also help future animals. It will also enable us to continue to provide help to those who desperately need it.

Please help us make this fundraiser a success by sharing it with YOUR family, friends and fellow animal lovers. Together we can turn your pet into a cartoon star and make a real impact on the lives of rescue animals in need in our community.

An eartip is not “ugly”, but rather, shows someone cared enough to have the cat altered and vaccinated. 😻 Surely the cat doesn't care part of his ear is missing, since it is painless. Only humans (in all our vanity) care that the cat doesn't look like all the other cats. Look past the eartip, the size of the eartip, the angle of the eartip. None of that matters as much as the fact that someone took the time to have the cat altered. ❤️

There are kind people around the country who keep an eye on community cats in their neighborhoods, helping to get the cats fixed through TNR programs. Ear-tipping allows them to tell from a distance whether or not a community cat has been spayed or neutered. That tipped ear saves the cat the stress of being trapped and anesthetized a second time.

Ear-tipping can also help anyone who is feeding the cats keep track of them, and notice if a new cat has joined the community. And it lets animal control officers know that a cat benefitted from TNR and has been seen by a veterinarian. In short, an ear-tip tells everyone that the cat has someone who has invested time and resources in his or her well-being.

Hi there! My name is Pookie. I'm an outgoing girl, very friendly and LOVE people. What I like best about people is the attention they give me. The more attention and pets you can give me, the better!

I am about 10 years old, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations. I am also litter box trained.

My new home needs to have no other pets. My ideal home will have people that will be home often and be able to spend a lot of time with me. I will be a great companion for someone that wants a loving furry friend.
