An AMAZING!!! PUPDATE:
This was just sent to me. These two were never going to get along LOL. Oh wait, the humans took their time, followed my instructions. Boom!!!
Look who's becoming buds! ❤️ We can't thank you enough! ❤️
PUPDATE: LARRY
Being normal at the fence line finally. He's the big guy on the right.
Bruno say goodnight....❤️
Goodnight Bruno.
PUPDATE:WEASEL...he's a pack walk member and has lots of pent-up excitability and energy. I wanted his humans to take him for a bike ride. They said he kind of struggled and I said just do it again and get him used to the bike. It'll be great for him. They just sent me this. Just a real quick video. Weasel looks pretty good. Copy and pasted:
Got Weasel out for a bike ride! He was a little apprehensive at first. I hooked him up and rode around the yard a bit, then once he got comfortable we hit the road. He did great! There were a couple dogs that barked at him and several squirrels but he didn't pay them much attention at all.
The epitome of balanced dog training... we use positive reinforcement throughout using clickers and treats. But, when that wasn't enough we used the vibration collar. When Chance dog broke from the fixation by the vibration collar, he was then praised and given treats... and this of course is not ME using the technique. This is a client. I'm not just walking around showing everybody what I do. It's not about me. This is all about you, the client. Is it perfect? No. Nothing is. But we build from there. We evolve. The dog evolves.
Today's in home was with Auggie. I don't know. Looks pretty good to me :-) his human just needed a little bit of proper technical training to achieve desired behaviors. Now to stay consistent and active.
PUPDATES RULE!!!
Still doing great at the beach and walking.
Now some swim time.
Today's in home was with Obie.... 14 month old excitable happy lab. Kind of would do what he wanted to do at all times. Not anymore :-) we lead him through. We tell him what we're going to do. Not the other way around.
Another successful pack walk. Thank you for all of your support and for doing what you need to do to help socialize and create a better world for your dogs. 40 dogs... and most of these dogs are here not because they're friendly. Many of them have fear aggression and would never in a million years be out in public like this. This is why I do what I do. We get the dog to begin to trust and lead them through the world making decisions for them. It's a beautiful thing. Teaching the humans to understand their dogs.
