We gave medley of cherry tomatoes, slicer tomatoes, mixed beans, eggplant, red round radishes, summer squash, zucchini, pickling cukes, straight eight cukes, carrots, bunched Asian greens, pac choy, cut washed lettuce, Swiss chard, beet tops, mustard greens Sage, rosemary, pearl oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms , dried herbs, and Italian oyster mushrooms. Hey all just harvested some beautiful green Rex lettuce heads, cut some real nice red Rex baby lettuce in the store in 8 oz bags. We also have radish microgreens, pea microgreens, fresh sage, oregano and chives. We also just picked some great blue oyster mushrooms and some lions mane. All in the store right now. We also have a fantastic chili oil and new to the store mustard dill pickles and polish style dulls. Come on down before they are all gone

Hello all. Happy new year to all our friends and family who have supported us last year. Today we harvested some beautiful stuff. We have arugula, kale, swiss chard, mustard greens, mung bean sprouts, pea shoots, radish microgreens, arugula micro greens, thyme, rosemary, oregano, Rex lettuce, red oak leaf lettuce, lions mane mushrooms, pearl oyster mushrooms and lastly some blue oyster mushrooms. Ok all, just harvested some nice blue oyster mushrooms, some awesome lions mane mushrooms just in time for your thanksgiving dinner. Don’t buy those overpriced ones that have traveled 1000’s of miles to get to you. Come grab some from the grower that were picked at 11:30 today and traveled 25 steps to the coolers. Hey all. I just filled the store with blue oyster and lions mane mushrooms. We have lions mane as big as 1.5 lbs each. There are a dozen lions mane and about the same of blue oyster in the cooler. Come get yours quick before they go.

Hey everyone,
just finished the new cutting greenhouse. We can now grow our cutting greens in their own space. with this house we now have three greenhouses operating. We have one growing gourmet mushrooms and can produce 200 pounds per week. We have our new cutting greenhouse this is where we produce greens like swiss chard, kale,beet tops, collard greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, spinich and the like. This house can produce upwards of two hundred bunches per week. Finally we have our lettuce greenhouse, this house produces our lettuce and herbs. This house can produce 7,000 heads per month. All this can and is produced year round. It’s due to the support of this great town and the residents in it that have allowed us to expand so quickly. We also have planned to build another cuttting greenhouse in the spring. Thanks to all those who support us and I look forward to serving the community for many years to come. We appreciate every one of you.

Hey all,
Today we harvested grey dove oyster mushrooms, pea microgreens, sunflower shoots, Boston rex lettuce, red oak leaf lettuce, mixed salad greens and shiitake mushrooms. You will not find fresher produce or better prices anywhere around. And in addition to lowering our prices across the board to help you afford quality food during these times when everything seems to be going up, we also have started to package our products to maximize shelf life. Fat daddy’s is now packing all bagged items in “fresh produce bags”. These bags are designed to absorb ethylene. That is a gas produce, veggies and fruits give off that speeds up spoilage. These bags have been designed to absorb this gas and help keep your produce fresher longer. Theses bags are also reusable over and over, so you can put other items in them after you greens are gone. This will help you keep fruit or other items you have bought at the store fresher, so you waste less and get more value for your money spent. If you buy from fat daddy’s and your item is in a green or yellow bag those are the fresh bags so please reuse them to save a few bucks. Hey all. We have been working away in the greenhouse and moving thing around trying to find a layout the maximizes space and production. We recently moved the mushroom grow area from the trailer into the new greenhouse. Looks like we are getting some great results. I will have some amazing lions mane ready for harvest tomorrow. Hi all we just harvested some beautiful lions mane and king oyster mushrooms. This Thursday Fat Daddy’s will be at the Fitchburg farmers market from 3-6 pm and willbe at the Sterling farmers market this Friday from 3-6 pm. Looks like we are going to have some awesome grey dove oyster mushrooms, lots of lions head mushrooms, some bears head mushrooms and some shiitake mushrooms. Hey all just wanted to let everyone know that fat daddys apiary 132 chace hill rd just put out veggie plabts. We have bell peppers, san maranzano , amish paste, early girl, big boy and sun glo tomatoes. All veggies are $4.00 grab them before they are gone. Also we have hanging geraniums and flower baskets all baskets are $24.00 . tomorow we will be harvesting some beautiful pearly white oyster mushrooms, and some great lions mane mushrooms. You need to try these if you have never had them, the lions mane is very similar to crabmeat. These will go fast be sure to get your tomorow.

We have had many people say that they have come by several times to find the lettuce and greens sold out. We have had issues keeping up with demand due to the limited growing space. To solve this fat daddys Apiary has invested heavily to increase growing space. With the addition of our brand new commercial greenhouse and new hydroponic growing systems we will have the capacity to produce over 600 heads of lettuce or bundles of greens every week. We will also be producing tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, green and wax beans, cucumbers and squash year round. In addition to the new greenhouse we have added a growing area for gourmet mushrooms that will also produce year round. At Fat Daddys we are committed to producing the finest produce to our patrons. Today we harvested fresh broccoli micros, radish micros, spicy micro mix, and our newest best seller microgreen salad mix ( fava beans, sunflower, pea shoots and buckwheat) we also put out fresh blue oyster mushrooms and florida oysters. Next week we should have some pink oyster mushrooms and maybe some lions mane mushrooms. Make sure you get them while they are fresh.
