3 openings for week long horseback riding day program the week of July 24th. Ride two times a day, craft, swimming. Each child is assigned their own horse for the week and learns how to care for that horse- grooming, stable management, feed programs, hoof care, etc! $300/week 9 to 3pm. 860-208-8943

Lots going on!!! Rivendell's successful program will be running all programs and operating out of Carousels facility beginning July 1.
Carousel will be focused 100% on our show series.
Looking forward to this exciting collaboration!

Schools almost out and summer fun is starting up! New lesson groups forming, summer horse programs beginning, and only one boarding stall available.
Lessons beginner- advanced, children through adult- our horse or yours, quality training available. Trucking available to beach rides, trails, shows.
Great group of people at a fun and competitive barn.

Horseback riding program dates are in! Ride twice a day, each child is assigned their own horse for the week. Limited spots! $275/week. $50 non refundable deposit required to hold your spot then the remainder due on the first day. Cash, check, or credit cards accepted.

Willow is an elegant 16.2 12yo papered Holsteiner Mare. Willow has great bloodlines and is by Cor Noir. Willow loves people and is great to handle on the ground. Stands for vet, farrier, clips, bathes, ties, etc. She has been a broodmare for years. Willow is a very quick learner and can do it all- She won at her first dressage show with a 70% at training level. She is comfortable and has upper level potential. Has her flying lead changes, although they are not auto yet, with time they will be. Willow requires a rider with a strong half halt. Although she doesn't do anything 'bad' she can give a spook when not supported. Great dressage prospect and has some experience competing. Would also make a great jumper/hunter prospect as well. Willow has a clean slate to be someone's dream horse! Finish her the way you want! She has a great work ethic and is very smart. She is currently in professional training. Fantastic day at the Carousel show today! All the Rivendell riders had fantastic rides. Lily Congdon and RR Gold Bar Cal came home with Champion in the Beg. WTC, Cathy Davenport and Bumble Bee Dirty came home with Res. Champ in Open WT, Megan LeDoux and Undeniable came home with Res. Champion in both the classics and a pleasure win, Shelby and Incognito won the model horse, while Jessie Gagnon and Leaguer Go Lightly took day end champion in open youth.

Looks like a tough week to school for the show. But it also looks like we will get a little bit of a break for Sunday :o)

12yo, 13h liver chestnut Chincoteague Pony. Super quiet, simple ride, auto changes. This girl is safe enough for the beginner WTs, but also super competitive in the jumper ring. Years of successful show miles in both hunters and jumpers. CHSA points in Short Stirrup, Long Stirrup, Children's Pleasure Pony, and Low Training Jumper. Many TSHA Year Ends. Perfect first horse, safe enough for younger child but lots to offer as they grow. This girl will jump anything- won a Knock Down And Out that went to 4'3"! .
