Going into the new year, we would like to thank the community in Rice County for showing our little non-profit some love! We reflect on what this organization has been able to accomplish in its short time running so far!

Through fundraising alone, MMTNR was able to raise $2,000 in 2024!!! This has allowed us to file the necessary paperwork to become a 501(c)(3) and TNR a total of 12 cats for this year, along with buying the equipment for trapping and housing these cats during their recovery. As we continue to grow, we hope to target many more colonies, work to humanely reduce the feral cat population and let these cats live happier and healthier lives.

I would also like to send a massive THANK YOU to the Rice County Community Foundation for awarding our organization with a grant for $2,500 that will be used to take care of the feral cat community in Little River! Myself and Candee are working hard to start conducting a system for getting the funds used in 2025 to help that area!

We look forward to the new year and getting back to work as the holidays pass.

P.S did you know you could fit 10 traps and carriers in a Kia Soul?

If you have adopted through Friends of Animals Rice County and would like to share a current picture of your furbaby, we would love to see them. Either comment or send us a message. Thankful for all the families willing to adopt and open your home to a 4-legged friend. I am posting a picture of our little adopted dachshund, Yogi.
Merry Christmas!
