It's times like this when I just lose all will to continue.

I used the wrong temperature sensor when repairing the incubator, and cooked all of these Silkies at 106°F.

The road so far: 46 eggs shipped and no cracks!

All started, and a few quit along the way. So far 27 are looking like they'll make it to the finish line. Considering my incubators are used and abused, I'll call that a win.

For those that have come to the "farm", you know everything here is purpose built, as needed, and everything we have is available to borrow, use, and return when you're done.

Unfortunately, not everything returns, or doesn't return in the best of shape. It's expected, and we never hold it against anyone.

Bettering yourself is a Non-Stop journey, and if it weren't for the resources we help provide, Life would be unnecessarily harder for those who need help.

All that aside though, we are out of reliable incubators, and it is affecting our ability to provide low cost chicks, poults, ducklings, and goslings for the community.

We do not make a profit, and as such, we need your help to purchase a new incubator. A 180 egg incubator will allow us to continue hatching around 300 eggs per month, and will increase our success rate on endangered and at risk breeds.

If you make a donation, you will be entitled to a credit in that amount towards any of our bym, and most of our hatchery birds.
