Hello we are the Cook’s owners of Cook’s Gentle Giants my name is Becky and my husband is Steve, we have been married for 20 years, Steve works in the public Works department of or little town and I’m a receptionist at a veterinary clinic, We live in a small town in Michigan called Sterling we live out in the country on 3 acres with a ranch style home. Steve got me my first Dane about 23 years ago

and the obsession has continued to grow from there. In 2014 we established Cook’s Gentle Giants and started my dream of breeding Great Danes. We breed for confirmation and temperament we love all colors of the Great Dane but always strive to produce quality over color! We currently have 4 Danes all together. About 2 of the three acres is fenced in for them to have to run and play. We have been breeding for 8 years and have had 7 litters now we only do one litter a year our female that is retired now gave us our first 4 beautiful litters. She will now live out her life here spoiled rotten. Our dogs are always with us in the house along with our puppies. We take pride in a clean, relaxing and loving atmosphere for all our Danes with plenty of indoor and outdoor space!

New thing for Eva…….not so sure about a box should I trust it….she has the most curious personality always wondering what is going on and always wants to be involved with everything that you are doing. She is learning things so fast and I the best smuggler. Her and Jade are the best of friends and have been getting along so well. I just signed Eva up for puppy classes that will be starting in January I can’t wait to get her out exploring and learning new things. 🥰❤️🐾🐶

Oh Kodi, we will miss you so much. I wish I could have helped you more but I just couldn’t, I had to let you go just 6 moths after losing your brother Sully. Life just is not fair and it never lets dogs live forever especially the big ones. My heart hurts so much you were such a good boy and such a loving boy. You sure past on your looks to all your babies. I will cherish all the memories that we had with you. Be a good boy up in heaven and we will meet again someday. Eva has settled right in perfectly, she has been doing so well with everyone and has not had a single accident in the house yet. Crate training is going good she is in the room with Kodi and Jade. I finally got my Sully back, it took a little longer because I had a pendant made of his actual paw print with his name on the back of it. I’m so glad that I had it done it’s so nice and I will always have a part of of sweet boy with me. I will get a better necklace for at some point but I couldn’t wait to have it on I love it so much. He sure was a very special boy to me and he will always be. 💙🐾🐶

I know I’m late but Happy 5th birthday to Belle’s last litter before she retired,Ralphie,Penelope,Gus,Lily,Willow,Clyde,Zack,Turtle,Jax,Vader,Traveller, and Penny, and Kovu we hope that everyone is doing well. He was always so happy no matter what, I was his person and he was my boy. He would always make sure that he give me a million kisses and always be right beside me. As long as he was with me he was the happiest. When you lose something like that suddenly your whole heart is broken and you feel just lost. I know that I will heal from this. But for now I will miss him like crazy. 🥰🐾💙

I’m going to miss this greeting so much…… I was not ready to let you go but god had other plans for you….you will forever be my best boy and my forever “ heart dog” I just wish I could have said goodbye a different way you left so soon and unexpected that I was not ready. “Jade” was so excited to have more snow coming down last night, she is loving life and she love to express that. We love her so much.

Belle was always the worst one to get her nails done when I trimmed them with the trimmer but now that I got the grunt she doesn’t care she just lays there now.

Well the question that everyone has been asking is am I keeping Solo? Today was a bittersweet day as I got to help the Jorgensen family surprise their girls with him. The reaction they had on their faces when they found out was priceless. My heart was so full and happy he is going to fit right in with them and their other Dane they got from us named Zena. He is named Gus now and boy was it hard not getting that out. I know a lot of people wanted me to keep him but seeing the love and happiness that a family gets with is so wonderful. He definitely has a very special spot in my heart and I know he went to a wonderful family that is going to have so much fun with him. So with that being said welcome to your new family Gus! Thank you Lindsey and Andy for welcoming another one of our sweet babies to your family. 😊💙🐾🐶
