Even if your pup doesn't need regular haircuts, maintaining a healthy length on their nails is incredibly important!

When nails are too long and touch the floor, it causes pressure on the pet's foot. This pressure can result in the pet changing their posture and potentially causing aches and pains. With regular nail trim appointments, exposing the quick (the vein inside the nail) can help the nail length shorten. Sometimes pets see results in as little as one session, but should be put on a regular schedule to maintain healthy nail length.

We recommend pets get their nails trimmed every 4-6 weeks depending on their activity levels. We offer nail trim and buffs for only $15! Feel free to reach out and set up an appointment to get your pet's nails looking their best!

🪧If you've been looking for a sign, here it is! 🐶

Our sign is up at The Downtown Dog LLC! We are SO excited to start welcoming clients on Monday!

A few reminders going into our opening day:

- The front door will be locked between appointments to ensure minimal distractions while we care for your dog. Arriving too early can prevent us from getting those finishing touches and really making your pup look perfect!

We ask that clients show up no earlier than 10 min before their appointments, unless previously discussed with the groomer.

- We need to see proof of an up to date rabies vaccine before we can perform any grooming services! Please bring it to your appointment or message/email it to us ahead of time. If you haven't signed the service agreement as well, we can resend that to you!

- We are also STILL working through our interest form! We had a ton of people fill it out, so if you haven't heard from us yet, we may have just not gotten to you on the list. We really appreciate your patience!

🎉We are excited to announce that we will officially be opening our booth at The Downtown Dog LLC on October 7th!! 🎉

We are using this next week to finish going through the interest forms; set up our station and supplies; and preparing to make your pups' next grooming appointment a critical success!!

It was a busy day here at Blink Dog! We spent the day sorting and organizing all of the supplies that showed up. Our "lead merchandise specialist", Butters, even took the initiative to help unpack a box!

We are still working through our interest forms and reaching out to clients to book appointments. We had a lot of people fill them out, so we're doing our best to get through it in a timely manner.

Lastly, the official opening date of our booth at The Downtown Dog LLC will be announced on Thursday!🎉

✨Exciting Updates!✨

Things have been really moving along and we have some exciting news to share!

- After several setbacks with our build out, we are happy to announce that our good friends at The Downtown Dog LLC have welcomed us in! We will be having our own booth located inside their salon. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity and helping us out! ❤ We have updated the address on our page and will have signage in their window, so you can't miss us!

- We officially have a phone number up and running! This is a talk and text line, but will only be answered during our business hours.

We have received many questions as to what our services and pricing will be, so we wanted to take a moment to clear that up!

Since we provide one-on-one, all inclusive grooming we charge an hourly rate that is broken down into 15 minute increments. This way each pet can get all of the attention they deserve and can get them looking their best. Additional fees, such as for behavior and coat condition, may contribute to the overall price of the grooming.

We will also be offering ala carte services such as nail trimming/buffing, ear cleaning, and face/feet/sani trims.

If you have any questions regarding pricing, feel free to message us or when we are open we will be offering free consultations to meet in person to go over your pet's needs!

A little about us:
✨Blink Dog is owned and operated by Karen Higgins, who has been grooming for over 7 years, with the last 2 years in the Stevens Point area.
✨We are committed to safety and education. Karen is A.K.C. safety certified; American Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified; and has taken various seminars on providing care to anxious, elderly, and special needs pets.
✨We focus on one-on-one, all inclusive grooming. This means only one dog is being groomed by our stylists at a time and each grooming package is tailored to the individual pet's needs. This includes: nail trims; ear cleaning; shampoo/conditioner (shed-less treatments, hypoallergenic products, etc); and haircuts.
