The idea of Daycare Unleashed LLC came from our combined passion and experience with canines, both science and behavior based. We provide a supervised, structured, safe, fun, healthy and stimulating social environment; something we believe is important to the health and quality of life in all canines.
At Daycare Unleashed, LLC there is over 3500 square feet of indoor and over 1500 square feet of fenced outdoor play space. We are a collar free, one large play group facility. There is plenty of room to run and jump, or just lie down and relax. Please take into consideration most of the dogs attending daycare will be medium to large (30lbs+) sized dogs and are around 1 to 5 years old. There is a small dog (less than 30lbs) group available on a select day. Even though they are all friendly, there are times when the group will have a lot of energy. This presents a hazard for all dogs, especially small and elderly dogs. The energy level at daycare is usually very high with lots of running and roughhousing going on at any time. Smaller dogs and older dogs can have a tough time adjusting to all the action. Remember there is always a risk involved with open group play regardless of size and age.
To ensure the safety and health of your pet, we require all clients to comply with the following rules and regulations:
All dogs 1 year of age or older must be spayed or neutered and up-to-date on all their vaccinations. Dogs aged 6-11 months that are not yet altered will be screened on a case by case basis.
We welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds. Specific days have been set for dogs of smaller (30lbs or less) or medium/larger (30lbs+) size, as well as play style.
We only accept indoor dogs that are non-aggressive, friendly, and sociable with both people and dogs. All dogs will not display any resource guarding behaviors (food, playmates, people, items, etc.). We follow a “no tolerance” policy for aggressive behavior. This is for the safety of your dog, other dogs and ourselves.
We require written proof of the following vaccinations from your Veterinarian: Distemper combination or Titer, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Rabies, F***l tests are required every 6 months including a Giardia test.
All dogs are required to pass an interview/evaluation to attend daycare. A 3 week probation period follows.
We require all dogs to commit to at least one day per week. Pre-scheduled/Prepay attendance is required.
Full and Half day attendance available.
We are a small facility with a ratio of 10 dogs to 1 handler maximum, we have limited space.

Interviews into daycare are scheduled and conducted between the hours of 7am-12pm on agreed upon day. There is a one-time, non-refundable fee of $10 per dog. We do these interviews to introduce your dog to daycare, the group, and us, slowly and controlled. This way we can ensure they are comfortable and happy in the environment. We do our best to recommend the day(s) we feel your dog will do best based on their evaluation. We conduct our evaluation from a system created by the Dog Gurus, "Off Leash Play Evaluation". The following is evaluated -
Background: Categories - Breed type, Age, Social Experience, Usual Play Style, When Upset, Resource Guarding, Bite History, Obedience and Why (attending daycare).
Human Interaction: Categories - Meeting New People, Handling, and Obedience
Dog Greeting: Categories - Calm, Low key Adult Dog, Other Dogs, Small Group, Large Group
Play Behavior: Categories - Play Behaviors, Stress, Body Posture, Energy Level, Other Behaviors
Each category has (3) color coded (green, yellow, red) specifics to choose from. Each color is a different value. At the end of the evaluation we look for the dogs to score anywhere from mid/high-yellow to green. Low yellow we may have to discuss or re-evaluate and red is not acceptable for daycare.
Unfortunately, not all dogs enjoy or want to be at daycare. It doesn’t mean they are bad! In a daycare environment some dogs may be too stressed or uncomfortable with the amount of dogs, uncomfortable with the activities, etc. We strive to ensure every dog under our care stays healthy and safe, both physically and mentally. If we determine your dog is not enjoying group or we cannot accept them into the group, we hope you understand that it is in the best interest of your dog as well as the other dogs attending daycare.
