No buck, kick, rear, etc. There is absolutely nothing this mare won’t do. She gave us one flashy c**t and was a wonderful mother. Good to shoe, tie, clip, bathe, handle, no bad habits or undesirable traits. We truly cannot say enough good things about this mare. We will miss her, but know she will make a great addition to anyone’s outfit.

Hello friends, we hope everybody is ready for the cold front moving in! 🥶
We wanted to take this opportunity to let everyone know we have spots available for BOARDING.
We have stalls, stalls with runs, paddocks and paddocks with shelters available. Full care, feed can be provided, and additional services offered. plus, unlimited access to our wonderful facility! And only a 20 minutes drive from Missoula 😊

Happy New Year everybody! We're so lucky to start 2024 off with wonderful clients, horses, and opportunities. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us throughout the past year. Below, you'll find a current schedule for the Indoor arena along with a few reminders regarding the facility.

INDOOR ARENA OPEN RIDING TIMES:

Unless stated otherwise the indoor arena is closed to the public for lessons Tuesday-Thursday every week 2pm-6:30pm.
Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the indoor arena is open 8am-8pm.

FACILITY REMINDERS:

*Within the next couple of weeks, we will have two indoor stalls with outdoor runs available for long-term board. We suspect these will get filled quickly, so if you're interested please contact us immediately.

*Open riding is available for $10/hour or $100/month for a riding membership, that membership covers unlimited riding time as long as the arena is not in scheduled use.

*If you've got a group of friends and/or family you'd like to get riding with more consistently, and would like to have the space to yourselves, we'd be happy to rent out the facility for a handful of hours. Please contact us if you are interested.

Once again, we appreciate all of our clients, friends, and support. We look forward to seeing and working with you all in 2024!

!Important updates!

Spring has sprung! Do you know what that means? Time for vaccinations and coggins!
We have Tammany Vet Clinic coming out April 14th at 9AM to get a handful of horses done. If you want to jump on the list let us know!

Arena schedule for this week is as follows:

Tuesday: open anytime after 1pm
Wednesday: closed from 3pm-5pm
Thursday: closed from 12pm-6pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: open 9am-9pm

Howdy friends, we have immediate openings at SADDLE VIEW RANCH for horse training. 🐴

We work with all breeds and classes of horses, if you want to send it we will work with it- we just ask that they are at least halter broke at this time. Show horses, trail horses, gaited horses, fast horses, slow horses, unbroke horses, mules, mustangs, c**ts, etc. Re-starts, Tune-ups, mileage, exposure, c**t starting, ground work, and specialize discipline riding are all things we can offer.
Both trainers at SVR carry bachelors degrees in Natural Horsemanship, and associates degrees in Equine Science. We have experience in many different disciplines, and can accommodate to any personal goals you have with your horse.
We listen to your horse and go at their pace, we treat them with the same respect and kindness that we expect from them. Our program produces trusting, willing partners that can truly go in any direction.
Our facility provides excellent care and feed to our residents. we have access to indoor/outdoor arena riding, trails, and cattle. - you can expect to have your horse worked 5-6 days a week, rain or shine. 30, 60, and 90 days options available (60 day minimum for c**t starting).

‼️Arena Update Below‼️

Hello friends and riders of Saddle View Ranch!

After speaking with the Montana Department of Livestock, we are happy to announce we are back open to the public for open riding, events, and private rentals!

We’d like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time and we are so excited to see everyone’s faces back at the facility. 💕

Going forward, if your horse is sick (even if they haven’t traveled anywhere) please keep them home!! Take temperatures frequently and keep an eye out for any other signs of sickness. Let’s keep our state and valley’s horses healthy, and allow facilities all around to remain open to the public.

As a reminder, the arena is closed Tuesdays and Thursdays for lessons 2:00-6:30 and Wednesdays 6:00pm-9:00pm.

The facility will remain closed to outside horses until further notice. A new case of EHV was confirmed in the flathead county, and we want to keep your horses healthy and do our part to lessen the impact this may have on our community.

Hello everyone! As I’m sure a lot of you have heard, EHV-1 has made its way to Montana. We want to play it safe and keep everyone’s horses healthy. On that note, the arena will be closed until further notice to outside horses/riders.

Almost all horses have been infected with the virus and have no serious side effects. It is currently unknown what causes some infected horses to develop the serious neurological forms that may be fatal.

Also, please be careful outside as it is SLICKER THAN POO! 🧊 Feel free to bring your rigs around the less steep entrance and park anywhere that’s convenient so long as other vehicles can get by.

Hello friends and riders of Saddle View Ranch!

We have officially booked a private indoor arena rental on Wednesdays from 6pm-9pm. This is every week unless stated otherwise. This will also be posted on our whiteboard inside the arena.

We will be posting a schedule here on our page every Sunday to remind both open riders and boarders of the weekly schedule, pricing, and possibly other changes or rentals that we may run into.

Howdy Folks!

Hope everyone is staying warm! Thank you to everyone who has been using our scheduling link to book open riding and lessons. Although we are keeping the link for lessons, going forwards we will be taking a different approach for open riding. Starting next week (December 19th) the arena is open (unless stated otherwise) Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am-9pm for open riders. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s the arena will be closed for riding lessons from 2pm-6:30pm, riders are welcome afterwards. This means that those interested in open riding can show up (no reservation/booking needed!) anytime on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and within the open hours on Tuesdays and Thursday’s. Just sign in, pay, and ride! Hopefully this clears up confusion and allows everyone to get the most riding time they can!

Big boss Twitch’s been extra mischievous lately and has been caught sneaking into car windows. A few of our boarders have even taken her home on accident! She is now set up with a collar and bell to hopefully give our visitors a heads up that she's around. Please check vehicles before leaving the property as she's very loved and would be dearly missed. ✨😽

OPEN RIDING AND LESSON SCHEDULING LINK BELOW

Those snowcapped mountains mean winter is coming quick, and that means more use of the indoor arena! Below is a link that can be used to schedule out open ride times, and book lessons! We ask you to book through this link so we don't overrun the arena and give people the privacy they're looking for, especially during lessons. Payment will stay the same by using the drop box in the arena.

Please keep in mind if you haven't ridden here within the past 5 months you need to sign a liability waiver BEFORE mounting your horse. They are on a clip board where the sign in sheet and drop box is.
