Beau and Willow had so much fun at our Halloween event today! They enjoyed a photoshoot, pup cup, treats, treats to take home, and a craft!

Attention all new and current clients:

There have been a lot of no-shows and/or late past 15 minute appointments in the last month. This costs the rest of my day to be set back. I try to be as understanding as possible and usually don’t mind if you let me know ahead of time!

Starting Jan. 1st there will be these following changes:

- 15 minute rescheduling policy: if you are 15+ minutes late we are going to have to reschedule UNLESS I have the extra time that day to get them in.

-Booking fee: for those who are chronically late or no shows: 20% of your groom cost will need to be paid BEFORE booking your pup for their next appointment. The 20% will go towards your final cost of the groom.

-$30 an hour Late Pickup Fee: I ALWAYS give a 20 minute heads up to let you know when your pup is about ready- if we have discussed prior that you won’t be able to make it until a certain time, this DOES NOT apply to you. I understand life happens but in the last two weeks I have stayed hours past when I am done with work, missing my own doctors appointments etc due to people saying they’re on their way and never show until hours later.

I love all my clients, and appreciate all the support I have received throughout this past year!! I just can’t keep having last minute cancellations that can’t be filled or miss appointments of my personal life because of late pickups.

Boog says "pick me!" - he's a mastiff/lab/shepherd mix (a Heinz57), about 66lbs, between 1-3yrs old, and is such a gentleman. He's a good boy who knows a few commands, loves people, and is a bit goofy but affectionate. Adoption Fee is $30.

Big Announcement!! 🩷

If you didn’t already know, Meekos getting a little sister due in October! We are so excited for Harper McKinley to make her appearance. 🩷

Don’t fret!! I’m still grooming. Here’s the latest information on my maternity leave:

- Dates for my maternity leave CAN and may change due to not knowing if she will come early or late- if everything goes to plan my dates of leave will be October 8th to November 20th.

-My hope is to be back for holiday rush, so your pup can be fresh for those family get togethers 🦃🎄🩷

-PLEASE start booking out your pup for the rest of 2024 and feel free to start booking for 2025- I’m really trying to get everyone on a 4-8 week schedule depending on what services your pup needs.

-I am filling up for the year fast- clients need to schedule appointments in at least a week’s advance- very rarely do I have appointments for the week of anymore.

After Maternity leave is over- grooming will surely resume! Please be patient as I learn how to navigate a new life! 🩷

(If your pup needs groomed while I am on leave- I’m one step ahead!! I have already spoken to a groomer that works out of the same salon and she will happily give your pup a tidy up or groom!🩷)

UPDATE!!! This sweet girl was adopted today!!!

This amazingly sweet girl is Arrietty! She just loves to be held, purring the whole time. She has some eye issues that we think is due to something in the air here at the shelter, so once she's in your home we think it may clear up (but a vet visit would be beneficial). Come meet this friendly girl today! Adoption fee is $30.
