WHAT'S YOUR CORGI'S Lβ€οΈ VE LANGUAGE?

2 weeks ago we lost this precious little girl. She was just 11 days old. Mother nature can be so cruel. She was Mercy's last baby and the last pup from Crossroad Corgis. Mercy is doing fine now. Oh how we love our Corgis. β€β€
It's nice to have something to snuggle with..it's even better to have two. 8 days old
Day 7. Feeding time. Getting stronger every day.
Day 5. She got a new littermate and it looks like her Mama! Good news is that she has gained .5 ounce since yesterday. Would like to see more but at least she is not losing! ππ
Day #4. She is not "out of the woods" yet. Yesterday I weighed her to discover that she had lost 3 ounces. I immediately put her on formula last night. I had to take her to the Vet today to have her tail docked and dew claws removed. He agreed that she is not getting enough nourishment from Mercy, so every 3 hours she gets formula. Please pray for this little girl. She's got a fight ahead of her.πππ
She likes her new companions. Snuggle time. 2 days old and doing well.
When you're an only child you need something to snuggle with. 2 days old
It didnt look natural for her to be by herself. She should have brothers and sisters to cuddle with. Maybe these companions will help. 1 day old
I can barely say this outloud. Mercy had her puppy yesterday. Yes, just one puppy. A little girl. She is doing great! Plus we had to spay Mercy. I'll give more details later. It's just hard to realize she will not have any more litters. And she is the best mom.
We were so excited to see sweet little Roxie, from our last litter, at the Corgi meet last weekend. Here she is at 6 weeks vs 7 months old.
Had a little scare at the Vet office yesterday. We went to a new Vet for xrays on Mercy to check her babies. The first look at xrays showed no babies. She saw fluid in her uterus and said it was either a false pregnancy or a condition that required she be spayed. The news was devastating to say the least. She had all the symptoms of being pregnant and getting her spayed was not something we had even considered. The Vet then did an ultrasound (2nd photo) and then was able to see the puppies moving and heartbeats! We were so relieved!! The Vet then "darkened" the original xray (top photo) and if you look closer at this xray you can see some skeletons. Mercy is not as far along in her pregnancy as we thought. The Vet couldnt see how many puppies but we know there are multiple. We went from be devastated to being elated. Whew what a day!
Whose with us? Come join us in Missoula with your Corgi (or just you)!! We will be there with our Mercy and Sprocket.

Dogs Breeds With Highest IQ - Science Junkies
We love our Corgis. Smart, loyal, loving, expressive, active, and so cute ...just to name a few.
Among the most agreeable of all small housedogs, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a strong, athletic, and lively little herder who is affectionate without being needy.
Why do you love the breed?
Corgis are so smart.
Look at this cutie!! Tiberius (aka Oreo) from our last litter. 6 weeks vs 4 months old. They change so fast. I love his markings. Looks like he will turn into a red headed tri like his mama. So fun to see them grow. Thanks for sharing this adorable photo!
This is Jeff (Jett) from our last litter. 5 weeks vs. 4 months old. His color is changing. Looking more like his Mama. And how about those ears! Thank you for sharing this picture!! We love to see how these pups are progressing.
We have one of each of these. Mercy on left, Sprocket on right. Lol
Photo bomb. Can you find him? Sprocket!! Lol
Check out Jasper (aka Barley) from our last litter. One at 3 weeks old and the 2nd photo at 14 weeks old! He is happy in his forever home. They love him and they say he is so smart and a good puppy. We love hearing from our puppies! Thank you Jasper !
This is my husband's way of taking the dogs out for exercise. π€£

I received this nice note and cute photo from a happy new Crossroad Corgi puppy owner:
"DeeDee, we had Jeff to the vet yesterday and they all loved him, he is doing well. I want you to know that everyone who has met him says what a happy puppy he is and that is a tribute to you and Mr. McGowan. Also, my vet said his chipped scanned nicely and your vet did a great job on the tail docking. Thank you so much for this little guyβ€οΈ"
This note warms my heartπ
It's been a bit quieter here since all the puppies left. They were such a blessing for us during these "Covid" times. Mama Mercy wants to stay out in the garage where the puppies were.π’ We all miss them,.... except Sprocket. Sprocket has his best friend Mercy back.ππβ€
