We wonder what it's going to take to get people to stop BUYING puppies from PUPPY MILLS - AKA: the INTERNET, nice FARMERS, PET STORES etc. We know most people love dogs so WHY do they continue to BUY?? Please educate yourselves before getting a puppy or any new pet. Know where they are coming from and the reputation of the person or site they are coming from. *PLEASE RESCUE or ADOPT instead!

We are making some progress but still need more help to raise awareness. Now there are six states that have lawfully banned the sale of dogs and cats in pet stores! They are Maine, California, Maryland, Illinois, New York and Washington. In addition, 450 localities have also passed ordinances to ban the sale of dogs and cats in pet stores. People are finally "getting it"!
