Had some excitement on the horse side this weekend too!
If yall remember Ronnie, she has officially found some new kiddos! Thank you Dave and Stacy Apple, I hope your family enjoys her!!

And a sneak peak of the new two yr old project! She will be available mid August! You are not going to want to miss this one guys.

Longhorn update:
Our new herd sire Doc Holiday is looking fantastic!! He has really grown the past few months and we are SUPER excited to see the horn growth over the next couple years. His sire is 80+ inches from tip to tip.
Side bar we added two new cows to the mix this weekend! Annie Oakley and Montana Belle, we are excited to see the calves from these crosses next year! And of course we have the original trio putting on some horn growth during this hot summer. (Need to take some actual measurements one of these days)

We will be sending JW to the meat locker on Wednesday this week and we will have some meat for sale so be on the lookout for that!👀🥩

Do yall remember the black filly Stella? She went home with her new owners in 2022, her name is now Betty! I so appreciate Shawna for sharing her adventure with Betty. I love getting these kind of updates from people who buy our horses. So if you have one of our horses, I’d love to hear how they are working out for you!

“Hey! I’ve got some 2024 Betty updates for you! I feel like she’s changed so much this year and looks like a grown up girl now instead of the baby she was. She and Penny, the donkey, are great friends. We went to a local ranch horse show and have lots more to go this spring/early summer. She’s coming along so nicely. Just working on settling in at shows and getting more comfortable in that environment. Maybe we will add some boxing classes for fall shows!”-Shawna

Miss Tuxedo Skippa 2014 bay roan mare
broke to ride!! Send this mare on any trail and she’ll do whatever you ask, rocky hills, steep hills, water, over fallen trees you name it. Talk about a ground covering trot on this lady also. Rides bridleless with no issues. Not a beginner horse, suited more for an experienced rider. Would be an outstanding ranch horse for someone and take her to the shows on the weekends. Utd on shots, teeth, feet, wormer and chiro. Hauls and loads great. Very easy keeper and quite the looker. I’ve owned this mare since she was a two year old. Foaled in 22 a very shapey bay c**t. MRI Stellar Rain 2020 Black AQHA mare. Very nice big, thick black mare. Long gorgeous mane and tail. Small star with no other markings. She is branded. Very friendly and easy to get along with. This mare is just going to mature to be too tall for our program and I don’t have time to start her. She is not started but she is ready to throw a saddle on her. She stands 15.1 hands currently. She is very quick on her feet and turns on a dime! Very flashy mare if you are looking to get noticed in the show pen! Ready to go and start your way, utd on everything. Can get videos on request.
