Our 88% Saanen that is a beautiful blue color 🤦🏼‍♀️ gave us two beautiful white kids with 🍒 too many extra parts.

But everyone seems happy and healthy so that is still a win. ❤️😊

Scarlet finally decided the weather was cool enough to go ahead and start the process of kidding.

Last night she gave us our first set of quads for this year. 2 bucks and 2 does. And she finally through some blue in there!

If you are wanting a fancy show doe kid from a pending champion on sire and dam side, these two girls could be for you. We will let them go to the right homes where they can excel.

SGCH Cherry Tree Elliott kicked off our kidding season on one of the coldest days this year! She gave us buck doe twins out of Jen-Mae-Ka Kids Pixar. we are excited to welcome this little SNubian doe. ❤️. We are most excited that Elliot at 10 years old I still doing well. She is something special on this farm.

Phase one has started. The big bellied girls have been confined to the camera area for observation 24/7.

We don’t mind our dies kidding together or even in pasture weather permitting but we have no way to monitor them while away or inside unless we confine them for a short while.

As does approach a due date or look close to delivery, they join the preggos in the camera pen.

Babies by next wee we hope. And if you are looking for a kid or adult, let us know. We also let a few go as the weeks go on.

We were getting a bit panicked and started working on plan B when it looked like we weren’t going to get Twixie to have a successful pregnancy this year.

That only poses an issue for showmanship. We don’t mind if Twixie doesn’t walk into another confirmation class again ad she has done for us what we wanted her to do. BUT she is an irreplaceable showmanship doe. So we really wanted her in milk for the year for all our local shows as well as a trip to Nebraska.

Last weekend we had a suspect positive pregnancy on ultrasound. And then early this week we also have a positive blood test. We feel confident to say she is currently pregnant and we will keep our fingers crossed it all goes well!!

This goat loves to travel as much as we do!! And she hasn’t been to Nebraska before.

Razzle was a showmanship doe for many years. Well this year we were contacted by a high school senior that wanted a doe or two to add to her show string and since I couldn’t let these two go, we did a lease. Korban has Razzy and Georgalina in Texas and will be getting them out in the show ring this year.

She has already won some buckles and is helping younger kids get involved as well. It’s the perfect solution for all involved. Thankful for a community of goat people that always work together.

Today was sunny and we decided it was a good time to dig out the barn again getting ready for kidding season. I hate the process but love a fresh barn.

It’s been a good day so far no matter what else happens…..🥰♥️🏆

It’s show day!!!

The young girls approve of the new design alfalfa feeder. This one is a John boat trailer we got for free. Dean is pretty handy and built this semi permanent rack with lift off side doors for loading. This has a 3x4x8 bale weighing about 1550# in it. Loading video in comments. Pretty pleased with the new design that was made to fix a few things we didn’t like about the lawn mower trailer feeder he built. (Don’t ask, it’s not for sale and he has no time to build more 🤪).
