We missed this Gadwall in the Fall. Would have been a good one!

This hen gadwall made a 3,800 mile loop over the past year! The blue stars indicate locations where she stopped to rest on her migration. She had 5 stopovers during her spring migration (yellow line), and 4 during her fall migration (red line). She left Canada on 10/24/2024 and arrived to Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee on 11/11/2024. She stayed at Reelfoot for almost a month until leaving for Mississippi on 12/10/2024. Happy New Year!

Put the boat away yesterday 😢 2024 season is in the books. Had a Great year started in the spring with snows had some great hunts and survived all the wind this last spring.
September got into some early geese and teal on the river and then the grind with guiding started.
What a great year birds showed up and the weather was great. Got everyone out except one group that called at 4AM and said they were sick. No break downs and everything went safely
After Wisco closed headed out of state to hunt with friends and relax and enjoy some great food in the boat and some great hunting.
Thanks to all my Clients and friends for a great 2024 season.
Can’t wait til 2025 so we can keep watch over the decoy spread again.

Wow! No red
