This week is Deaf Dog Awareness Week, and we’re highlighting signs of hearing issues:

-Doesn’t react to loud noises
-Frequent barking
-Recurring ear infections or pain
-Startles easily and may snap

If your pet is experiencing any of the above, contact us and we will address. Deafness, whether congenital, due to illness, or aging, doesn’t have to prevent your pet from living a happy life!

Today, we had a Team Bonding exercise.
The following questions were asked;

Someone you want to know better

Someone who you share secrets with

Someone who probably sings in the shower

Someone you go to when having a bad day

Someone who inspires you

Someone you’re proud of

Someone who is fearless

Someone who works hard

Someone who makes you feel loved

Someone who rocks at their position

Someone you love

We then placed our painted hands on the shirts of those who we feel fit those questions.

Did you know 40% of dogs and cats experience some level of pain due to Osteoarthritis (OA)?

OA is arthritis that develops when protective tissue in the joints deteriorates, leading to friction between the bones. Pain from OA can decrease your pet’s willingness to play or exercise.

Attending a wellness visit 1-2 times a year, along with routine bloodwork, helps our team to identify potential problems early and provide timely intervention.
