Adorable Pigeon is looking for a home. I did a 3 week board and train with him mid June of this year. He is good with dogs, people and young kids. Walks well on leash, knows place and treadmill, crates well and loves swimming. He is about a year old. Please share

MEET MEMPHIS 😍 please share!!!

Dog for adoption located in Colchester, CT. Memphis is a 60lb border jack. Mom is full border collie and dad is border collie x jack Russel terrier. Memphis just turned 4 years old and came from a planned sport dog litter. He was returned to us after the family circumstances changed. He is looking for an active dog sport home. He currently does agility, dock diving, frisbee, tricks and knows how to use a treadmill.

Memphis is a great dog with high food drive, high toy drive & a great personality. His parents are very accomplished in many different sports with high titles and national placements. His siblings have done very well in the sport world as well. His favorite sport is frisbee, but dock diving is a close second. He kennels nicely and when he comes out he wants to work. He will ignore other people and dogs off leash if you are engaging with him doing frisbee, etc. He has the potential to be good at many other sports as well. Wild little Riot had her second vet appointment today. What does a vet appointment look like for a trainer’s dog? We make it fun!!! I worked on simple commands and I gave her LOTS of treats for engagement. I want her to have a positive association with going to the vet because it’s something she will have to do for life.

Setting her up for success at the vet started at home. I made sure she was introduced and comfortable in the car, with a leash and in environments outside of the home. Make sure to socialize your puppies as much as possible! This does not mean having them meet every dog and person you see. Socializing your dog is about making sure they are comfortable and well mannered in all different settings.
