Dear Clients,

As we embark on our daughter’s senior year we will be closed more than usual (2025).

As of now we will not be taking boarders

May 22 - May 27 (Memorial Holiday Week)
June 22 - July 6th (2 weeks including July 4th)

and I expect that this list will continue to expand as the year unfolds.

Please keep reaching out to me as early as you can to try and secure care; I will offer recommendations for alternative boarding on dates that I am not available.

Meet Stella. Stella is a Cane Corso Mastiff, more commonly known as an Italian Mastiff. These beauties were bred to protect and herd livestock back at farms in Italy.

As a pet sitter who takes certain dogs off property almost every day (weather permitting, leash trained dogs with proper manners only), one of my biggest challenges is dog owners who walk straight at me, mostly with small dogs expecting it to be social hour.

Can you imagine how I would deal with an altercation handling sometimes upwards of 250 lbs of dog?

Neither can I, but sadly this is the daily reality of what I encounter at least 75% of the time.

So here I am, dragging these dogs across a busy street to avoid the inconvenience of the owner with the malitpoo or some other dog the size of a few bags of sugar from having to move 10 lbs of dog out of the way.

But not when I have my Stella!

Stella is my superpower. Ppl see us and they run the other way, literally.

Little do they know that Stella is probably the most gentle, well mannered, docile dog that I’ve ever had the pleasure to take care of. This is judging a book by its cover, FULL STOP.

Judge away my friends for when Stella is my walking partner, my walks are full of joy and peaceful moments. 🌻🐾💛

Kennels are safe spaces, places of comfort. They should NEVER be frowned upon as a negative place for punishment.

That said, not every dog prefers to rest in a kennel, and that’s okay too. Dogs are individuals and need to be treated as such.
