This began with a significant rise in consumer reports of sick pets eating Purina pet food. We are now seeing the same alarming symptoms across different brands of pet food. This has happened previously when there was contamination at the supplier level - multiple brands purchased the same contaminated material. ⁠

SAVE THE PET FOOD. Do NOT agree to send the pet food company the food. If you feel compelled to do so, only send a small portion. Keep the rest of the food in the freezer in original packaging. Do NOT send the medical records to the pet food company. Document your conversation with the pet food company.⁠

The pet food company may eventually say they will pay your vet bills and reimburse you for your pet food. If you agree to this they will ask you to sign a form which will prohibit you from taking legal action. Eventually, if there is a class action lawsuit you will be unable to join if you do this or if you want to file your own lawsuit.⁠

The Facebook Group 'Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time' is a group of volunteers working tirelessly to help pets impacted by this. It is not our group, but it is the best resource we can offer at this time. Please have patience with these unpaid volunteers doing their best to keep up with the influx of concerned pet parents.⁠

PLEASE BE ADVISED TO OUR POLICIES.....

MATTED DOG POLICY. IF after evaluating your dog and we decide we can go ahead with the grooming, we require a filled out and signed release form which will be provided at the time of your appointment.
This is set in place to protect all involved, especially and including your fur babies. We want an all around good and problem free experience for everyone.
Extra charges will also reflect the amount of work and time it takes.

Also, our new cancelation policy is as follows.

IF you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours from your scheduled appointment, there will be an extra charge of a 1/2 price to your next grooming.

IF you cancel your appointment the day of your scheduled appointment or if you're a NO SHOW, there will be an extra FULL priced charge to your next grooming.

From the Apoquel package insert, approximately 6% of test dogs developed cancers.

Side effects listed when using Apoquel include vomiting, diarrhea, liver failure, overwhelming bacterial and fungal infections, including pneumonia.

Apoquel does not "cure" anything; it is an immune suppressant. It is only labeled for use in dogs, and is unsafe for puppies under 12 months or senior dogs due to their weakened immune system.

Allergies, skin infections, and ear infections are related to immune system dysfunction, which commonly occurs secondary to gut dysbiosis (imbalance of good and bad bacteria within the bowel resulting in swelling of the cells lining the bowel and secondary leaky gut).

The basis of allergy treatment requires:
▪️ Removing or reducing allergen exposure whether that is food or environmental
▪️ Fixing the gut!
▪️Modulating the immune system
