Azuri and Cindy Lou Who, our lovely calicos, are having some quality time together today. 🧡🖤🤍 Zuri is just purring away while Cindy Lou scurries around with her toys and not a care in the world. Are you looking for a gentle lap cat, or an active companion? One of these cats may be the perfect choice for you! 🐱❤️ These precious girlies have gotten plenty of time to get to know one another through the cage doors. We do not recommend throwing two cats together before they’ve had a chance to be slowly and safely introduced. This video is not a reflection of how these two would act when meeting a new cat for the first time, but you can see that they could get along great with other cats in their new homes after a slow and gradual introduction. Meeko ASMR

Azuri Playing for the First Time

Azuri, our hesitant, cautious calico has been coming out of her shell at her own pace. She gets overwhelmed very easily and shuts down. She has been here since October, and we’ve never had luck getting her to play with toys until today! Azuri is playing with a toy for the very first time since her arrival 🩷 Hopefully someday soon she will play outside of her kennel, but for now, this is a win. Baby steps for Ms. Zuri 🐾

ADOPTED 🎉 This is Cleo!! Cleo is looking for her forEVER home. This poor girl has been shuffled around a couple times, and she keeps finding her way back to us unfortunately. But we have to keep trying! This is her second time being relinquished to the clinic. The first time, she was nothing short of spicy. She made her boundaries very clear 😬. But this time around, after the first couple weeks, she is a completely different cat! We think she has finally realized she needs to be nice if she wants a chance at a new home. LAH CURRENT RESIDENTS

We are currently housing 24 animals right now. That is a LOT for us. We are having an adoption event THIS SATURDAY from 1-3pm. Most of these names on this board are ready to meet YOU. They may just be the companion you’ve been missing. 💞 We are taking applications that same day, and we will work to get them processed as fast as possible in the following days. You may just be approved to adopt a new family member into your home and life 🐶🐱❤️ Please attend and give our furry friends a chance!

Marley 16 yo. Red Abyssinian

ADOPTED 🎉 Marley is still looking for a home! He is a 16 year old purebred Red Abyssinian. An old man looking for a calm quiet home to spend his senior years. Marley is super friendly with everyone he meets. He loves to cuddle and is very affectionate. He could spend forever curled up in your lap, it’s his favorite place to be (besides the food bowl 😉). Lots of change is hard on senior animals, so a home most similar to Marley’s original home would be ideal. Not too busy, maybe 1 other cat with the proper introduction, and with humans who are able to handle him respectfully and cautiously due to his old age and suspected arthritis. Marley talks a lot with his unique squeaks, and can even be playful from time to time. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and ready for his furever home! ADOPTED 🎉 Will you be Zero’s “way out”? Zero is 1.5 years old and has been here since October. He is the sweetest boy with a gentle soul. All he wants is someone to love! We haven’t seen much interest in toys, but that could very well change. For now, in his current environment, all he craves is human affection. Our staff does the best we can to make our residents feel loved, but the little interaction we can provide is only a taste of what they could have in their forever homes! Adamite and Amethyst
