Friends- still looking for a home for Kali!

Offering Kitty Kali for sale. She’s 15.3ish. She had a super lovely foal for me in 2023 but sadly lost her foal this spring. She has been cycling oddly and I think it is time for her to do something else. She is a nice floaty mover but hasn’t been ridden since her last race in 2019. Retired sound and legs are clean. Just had her teeth done last month and is utd on vaccines. She would make a nice project for someone on a budget 😎 8xx

I'm excited to be apart of the Draw It Out Horse Health Care Solutions team for yet another year!

5-6 years ago my show horse (pictured) managed to injure his front leg and came in with horrendous swelling. A friend of mine had DIO gel and offered to let me try it on him to see if it helped bring down that swelling. Within 24 hours the swelling was reduced to nothing.. the rest is history! Since then DIO has widely expanded their portfolio, and the OHF folks are avid users of nearly all of their products.

Any friends looking for a companion/lead line pony?? Lad is in his upper teens, 13.3ish hands Id guess. He has been the only horse pet/lead line for grandkids for an older lady for the last 10ish years of his life and before that was a camp horse. He will ride around on his own with a halter but doesn’t know a whole lot. Gentle with kids, good for farrier, loads, etc.

We have a 12x15 matted stall with an attached 15x60 outdoor runs available! Stall has heated water in the winter and a fan for the summer.

Board is $350/month. We do not provide grain but will feed it 2x a day. Owners live on site! No indoor unfortunately but do have 2 outdoor arenas (100x100 & 100x200). Also we have a couple mile grass trail around the neighbors field! Plenty of trailer parking space.

Pal & Rex are spending the weekend at the Iowa Hores fair participating in Connie Conis’s (Oak Hill Farm/The Amateur Professional) dressage clinics! Today Pal was super in the equitation clinic and tomorrow both will be in her lateral dressage warmup clinic - I’ll be riding Pal and Rex will be doing groundwork. Come check it out 🙂

1) Herm Sprenger KK Loose ring. This is an older version of an HS bit & I can’t find a link for it. It is a thicker diameter, likely a 18 or 21 mm, designed for horses who desire more substance to their bit. This The link in the middle is longer and rotated by 45° comfort.

Calling all the multi-ring folks🥳.

Excited to present "He's a big Dill" affectionately called Chip. Chip retired from a brief racing career last year and has been livin' easy until I purchased him this summer. He is 5 and stands 16h & big bodied. Retired sound, clean, and good (the best!) minded. He's spent the last few months being developed by myself nice and slowly. Chip has the brain for amatuers to enjoy and the potential to appeal to the professionals and should enjoy popping around any ring you direct him toward. Currently Chip is focusing on his foundational work and consistency in the bridle all while developing his topline and strength. Currently Chip goes WTC, has started the foundation of laterals and is just starting to see some cross rails and jumps. He's taken every challenge with ease and is cool as a cucumber. One of my favorite qualities about Chip is how brave he is. I've tried tons of different things to scare this horse and he really just...doesn't care. Heavy machinery working outside of the ring? No big deal. Four wheeler zooming around while I'm riding? Neat! Green horse having a tantrum in the ring with him? Sounds like his problem. Want to take him trail riding? Sounds great! Water & bridges are fun! Cows, pigs, kids, dogs, - all A-okay! He is the same steady eddy no matter who is riding him😇

Chip is good for the farrier and vet. He loads and travels well despite not traveling much yet, and will only get better in time.

Basically, Chip is a great prospect for the future and has enough talent to catch the eye of all kinds of folks. Bonus - he's in a simple chocolate wrapper and if you're anything like me and dread endless baths before shows (plus my show horse has 4 stockings and grooming him alone takes up my grooming internal battery), his elegant color is the cherry on top🤩

Shoop retired off the track in 2015. She then went on to compete successfully at Novice, schooling Training and some Prelim with her previous owner. She unfortunately developed some soundness issues and retired from competing. She is not sound to ride but is pasture sound & you wouldn't know a thing was wrong with her by watching her play in the field. Lovely mover.
She is a maiden mare and goes with a 2 year contract to the super perlino stallion Mitril! The stallion owner is excellent to work with and provides a generous LFG. Currently resides in central iowa.
