Vera had her first FastCat runs today!
Excuse the tongue picture (😅🤣) she couldn’t contain it along with her excitement by the end of her runs.

We are on the way to a BCAT title, hitting top speed of over 24mph!

Throwback Thursday!

Sharing and educating about purebred dogs and all the wonderful that come with owning one. 📚

This was a class room of high school students in an animal science based class. Ensuring future generations have access to good genetics and a education on quality animals is something I certainly feel strongly about.

There is so much importance behind health testing, there is never a 100% health grantee but eliminating as many variable as possible when creating healthy dogs is very important to us!

Carrying himself proudly, the Poodle has about him an air of distinction and dignity peculiar to himself. They are an active, intelligent, and elegant breed that is well known for their versatility.

Are you interested in a Standard Poodle? The OFA, working with the Poodle Club of America, recommends the following basic health screening tests for all breeding stock of Standard Poodles:
- Hip Dysplasia (OFA or PennHIP)
- ACVO Eye Exam
Health Elective (one of the following):
- Autoimmune Thyroiditis
- Sebaceous Adenitis
- Cardiac Exam (Basic, Advanced, or Standard Congenital Cardiac Exam)

Dogs meeting these basic health screening requirements are issued Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) numbers. For potential puppy buyers, CHIC certification is a good indicator the breeder responsibly factors good health into their selection criteria.

O’so Sharps Laced In Grace better known as Vera completed her Echocardiogram this weekend as well.

Her health Test results have been:
Eyes - Normal
Hips - Good
Elbows - Normal
Thyroid - Normal
Heart - Normal

We took Birkin to her first show for a weekend of BPUP at the Renaissance Cluster in Madison, WI

This little girl went best standard puppy all 4 days, with a Group 3 placement Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Not pictured is her Group 4 placement from Sunday.

Miss Vera spent about 4 hours on the grooming table throughout today in preparation for the kick off of our 2023 show season this coming weekend. It is a good thing she is perpetually happy and enjoys all the attention.

It really does take a village, but some people just go above an beyond… A HUGE thank you is in order to Tom Sanew for all his help and guidance on this adventure. O’So Sharp Laced in Grace “Vera” is getting ready to head back into the ring in January, so figuring out a best way to tackle her spray up was needed as well as some reshaping. With the help of Tom we are right on track for her show ring return.
