🐾🤤 Moms cooking again everyone 🤤 this week she's making Sammy and I a "Dog Beef stew" she gave us taste tests as she was cooking and some for our lunch!! Oh my was it dogalicious good!!!!

She used the gravy from the left overs from when her and dad had chuck roast in the crock pot 🤤 added fresh mixed veggies (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, & potatoes) salmon oil, coconut oil, bone broth, turmeric, pumpkin, fresh eggs, fresh porterhouse steak, fresh sausage, rice.

Helping you fight off the Sunday scaries with this adorable pupdate! The puppies are 3.5 weeks, and have hit a few new milestones-

🐾 All of their eyes are open- right now they have their baby blues, but as they age their eye color will change

🐾Their teeth are coming in! We've started them on puppy mush - a mix of blended puppy food, puppy milk formula, and rice cereal

🐾They have graduated to a larger playpen, and have started on litter training. This will prepare them for potty training when they head home

🐾They have also had a few new exposures. They had their first bath (meal times get very messy!), and exposure to vacuum and blow dryer sounds. We will start to expose them to all sorts of new experiences, and sounds, in the next upcoming weeks to prepare them for their new homes.

We still have a chocolate female, a yellow female, a black male, and a yellow male available 🥰 tell your friends and family!!

Here's a little information about the BOLO mark that I have on my right foot!

BOLO PADS...

In 1916 the Labrador Club was formed in England with support from Lord Knutsford (Munden Kennel line) and Lady Lorna, Countess Howe (Banchory Labradors). Some chocolate labs are said to trace back to FC Banchory Night Light from the Banchory Kennel. He was a black dog born in 1932 in England. Night Light comes from the line of Dual Ch. Banchory Bolo (1915) who appears to be a carrier of the chocolate gene from Buccleuch Avon. Sh. Ch. Banchory Bolo was also known for carrying a trait of white hairs under the feet (Bolo pads).

In the late 1930's Chocolate Labradors were known to be at two kennels: Tibshelfs & Cookridge. Some of these lines connect down to NFC-AFC Storm's Riptide Star from Buccleuch Avon and Banchory Bolo.

Bolo Spots/Marks

This is called a "Bolo spot" or bolo mark. Its named after CH. Banchory Bolo one of the early Labs who had these spots and passed them on to his get and future generations. Bolo spots are found on the back of the leg above the pad. This is NOT considered a mismark.

Mom's in the kitchen again... This week's menu consists of

Farm fresh sausage, farm fresh eggs, apples, butternut squash, fresh mixed veggies, wild brown rice, coconut oil, bone broth with pumpkin, fish oil and turmeric in it. 🤤 Sammy and I can't wait for it to cool down to try it, she said we could sample it today!! 🤤
