Grand Champion Show Stables is a hunter/jumper training and showing barn located at 1515 West Street in Stoughton, MA. We’re dedicated to providing the best possible training and showing opportunities for horse and rider. Owner and head trainer Alexandria Quayle Muzyka has over 25 years experience riding, showing and training in southeast Massachusetts. It is her mission to assist each and every c

lient, whether they choose to show or not, in achieving the individual goals for themselves and their horses. Her specialty is bringing along young and/or green prospects and showing their full potential. Assistant trainer Becky Shipps joined the GCSS team after 25+ years of riding and showing in the hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions as an amateur. Her specialty is classic equitation with a focus on rider position, mechanics, and functionality. She works with riders of all levels to help improve their strength and fine tune their cues so they can communicate effectively with their horses. Both Alexandria and Becky’s main focus is on both finding, developing, and showing young horses as well as training and coaching hunter, jumper and equitation riders. Junior and amateur riders of all levels are welcome as our show schedule includes both one day USEF shows and A-rated away shows. Proper sportsmanship, horsemanship, and kindness are emphasized heavily in this program. New customers, new horses, and visitors are always welcome!

Yesterday was a wonderful day for Charlotte Marks and Happenstance, with two incredibly confident rounds at MHC finals. This duo has made significant strides in their first season together, and we’re excited to see their continued growth.

And if you know Charlotte, you know she has a hilarious personality. Here’s a glimpse of Charlotte getting ready for homecoming while still making time to prepare Ludwig for the finals the next morning! 🤣💆🏼‍♀️

A wonderful weekend at NHHJA Fall Finals for Courtney & Charlotte!

Courtney and her own Good Time Mac took home a reserve championship finish in the hunter please horse including a WIN in the NEHC open pleasure!

Charlotte and Happenstance, owned by Julie Elmore, had multiple great rounds to be proud of and culminated their weekend with a 5th-place finish in the NH Children’s Medal Final!

We are so proud of these pairs for all of their hard work and dedication and can’t wait for the rest of finals season💜

It was a great trip to the bluegrass state for Quinie Of Paradise and Alex Quayle to put in multiple great rounds at the Platinum Performance/USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championships.

This pair and the team behind them has been hard at work to get Quinie in tip-top shape and we look forward to watching them continue to shine in the hunter ring🌟

✨Pony Finals 2024✨

A dream come true for all involved. When Lauren & her parents came to GCSS just over two years ago, she set the goal of competing at pony finals.

A few years of dreaming and lots of hard work culminated up to this moment but we couldn’t be more grateful to all of those involved. Lauren’s trainers, Alex Quayle & Becky Shipps. Her groom, Gabi Waslewski. Her parents, Armin Gebauer & Kelly Chung. Boo’s owners, Ashley & Priscilla Jedrich for sharing him with us last two years. And of course, our GCSS family, for always cheering on from near and far.

It hasn’t always been easy but it’s always been worth it and we couldn’t be more proud of these two.

Ike Williams & Lorenzo qualified for NEHC Junior Medal Finals

Karina Williams & Silver Maple had multiple great trips in the children’s hunter pony and finished 12th out of 39 in the 2’ derby

Alex & Quinie of Paradise took home 3 second place ribbons out of a competitive group of 3’ high modified hunters

Charlotte & Happenstance qualified for NH children’s medal finals

Amy Warner & Outfielder finished 2nd out of 19 in the $500 2’ hunter classic

Courtney Beck & Good Time Mac WON the outreach hunter pleasure championship out of a competitive group of 10.

Alex and Quinie of Paradise had a great week at Saratoga Horse Shows for the Green Incentive Regional Championships! Quinie gets better each time out and we are so lucky to have this spectacular horse. Thank you to all involved in this mares journey💜

Great weekend at our favorite annual, Norfolk Hunt Horse Show!

Brooke Krbec & All About The Benny’s finished CHAMPION of the .65 jumpers with some stellar rounds today.

Alta Welborn & Action Jackson finished RES. CHAMPION of the short stirrup equation. This pair also took home a 2nd in the MHJ to qualify for finals.

Marley Souza made her horse show debut aboard the very best Carrot Cake and took home ribbons in every walk/trot & ground pole rounds.

Charlotte Marks & Happenstance finished RES. CHAMPION of the 2’6” Junior Equitation. They also took home a blue in the MHC Mini-medal to qualify for finals.

Lauren Gebauer & Sneak Attack finished 5th in the 2’6” hunter derby as well as bringing home top ribbons in her mini-medals to pick up points for finals.

Courtney Beck & Good Time Mac had a nice early morning with successful trips and multiple ribbons in the hunter pleasure classes.

Thank you as always to our horses for keeping us safe and giving their all even on long and hot days. As well as our team of Alex, Becky, Gabi, family, and friends who make the days as successful as they are💜

Belated NHHJA Spring Recap✨

Able Glitz and Glamour made her return to the show ring with Alex, laying down multiple stunning hacks to finish champion of the hunter pleasure horse.

Action Jackson and Alta continued to make huge strides on their first short stirrup year, including WINNING a class out of 11 as well as a second place finish in the NH novice medal.

Good Time Mac and Courtney continued to learn a lot about each other in only their second horse show together but topped it off with a second place finish in the hunter pleasure championship.

Happenstance and Charlotte made their horse show debut together and made it a great one. This new pair took home a WIN in both the MHJ Children’s & Mini Medal as well as multiple top 3 finishes in the 2’6” hunters.

As always, thank you to our horses for always trying their hardest and to our team on the road for keeping our horses healthy & happy. Looking forward to the rest of the 2024 show season💜

Qualify For Pony Finals ✅

Huge congratulations to Lauren and Sneak Attack aka Boo on their reserve championship finish in the combined medium/ large pony division to qualify themselves for pony finals 2024. This pair also took home 3rd in the pony hunter classic and 5th in the USHJA Pony Derby, respectively.⭐️

Lauren and Boo have worked hard for this moment and it was quite special to see it all pay off. A special shout out to her parents for their unwavering support and the team behind her at home and on the road💜

One day fun day at The Pines for a stellar performance by Lauren and Boo!

Lauren made her medium pony debut aboard the very best Sneak Attack and they marched around the ring like pros. This pair took home top ribbons including a score of 80 in the classic✨

Doing the division has been a dream of Lauren’s for a long time and she could not have made her debut a better one, of course with the help of the very best Boo Pony 💜👻

Had a great last day of showing! So proud of Gigi and Goon...to say that this was a great growing experience along with winning ribbons is an understatement. I learned so much about both horses and we grew even more as team members! Here is one of Goons great rounds!
