Update: Owner has been found. Thank you, everyone!
Anyone missing an orange cat? This handsome (young) fellow was hanging around our vet clinic. We brought him inside to keep him away from Rt. 100. He’s very sweet but not microchipped. Please share, or call us at 253-6800 if he’s yours!

Good news! Stowe Vet Clinic is now accepting new clients/patients. Give us a call at 802.253.6800

Hope your holidays are happy and healthy!

Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Remember to guard the turkey and side dishes….doggos can be quick and bones are no bueno!

Speaking of the holiday, just a heads up that we’ll be closed on Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th, to give us a little time with our own families. We open again on Saturday from 9:00-12:00.

Appointments are currently booked out about a week, but each day we reserve a couple of emergency spots for things that just can’t wait (like porcupine quills, blocked kitties, accidents, etc.). These same-day emergency appointments are necessarily first-come-first-served, so if you need one, call right when we open and we’ll do our very best to get you in.

Our vets are dedicated and work long hours. But they’re only human and need a little down time, too. For this reason we refer after-hours emergencies to BEVS (24/7 emergency and critical care facility in Williston).

Please stay well and enjoy the holiday!

Ticks are out, and with cooler weather coming, they will be biting. Please remember to protect your loved ones.

With that said, starting Monday 9/11/23 until 10/31/23 Bravecto & Sentinel has launched bonus rebates. This rebate comes OFF your bill AUTOMATICALLY!

Also, we are excited for a new all in one (flea, tick, heartworm and intestinal parasite treatment) in 1 monthly dose called Nexgard Plus. Our office is stocked. This company also provides rebates that come OFF your bill AUTOMATICALLY!

PLEASE DON'T WAIT... Check your supply and stock up. Don't miss out on saving money.

If you're unsure how long you should be treating for fleas ticks heartworm and international parasites the answer is ALL YEAR (12 months), due to increasingly warmer winter temperatures. Ticks can survive our coldest of cold snaps and quest for hosts even with snow on the ground.

Due to storage shortages we are trying to get most of our clients onto the Hills to home program for food. We will have a small selection of prescription diets and royal Canin in our clinic but please call ahead so we can ensure we have supply for your patient before you run out. We are happy to help you sign up for hills to home as well- this program sends food at a discounted rate right to your home! Thanks so much and sorry for the inconvenience!

We are remaining open today- although due to multiple road closures and flooding we are a skeleton crew. Anyone traveling in pay attention to closures and do not cross through water. We are thankful for our clientele being understanding and our thoughts are with those struggling during this storm.

💊Regarding refills🍽️:
For legal reasons in order for our staff to refill medications or prescription diets your pet must come in annually for an exam with one of our doctors. This is to continue a doctor/patient relationship. We understand finances/personal reasons may make this difficult for some but it is best medicine practice and a way to ensure your pets are healthy and safe. We do apologize for any inconvenience and thank you in advance for understanding!

Trying to schedule an appointment? Please call rather than email.

💉💊We typically book out about 2 weeks for annual/regular check ups. We do have select slots available daily that are known as same day emergencys, which are on a first-come, first-serve basis (we recommend calling as soon as we open as they go quickly!). Our staff is happy to work with a time/day that is most convenient for you and we also have a cancellation list available for both surgery and regular appointments.

🛑In a critical emergency situation we do offer triage, but we ask for a heads up (if possible) so that we can best serve you and your patient and give them the best possible care.

🩺Surgery schedules vary- Dr. Gregg performs 1–2 surgeries M-F and Dr. Ryan performs various amounts of surgeries (depending on how in-depth procedures are) on Thursdays only.

✂️We have Dr. Garrett Levin (Ascend Veterinary traveling surgeon) available on select days of the month for specialty/orthopedic surgeries- these need to be planned in advance with pre-op procedures done at least a week prior to the surgery day.

Call us at 802-253-6800 to discuss any needs your pets may have🐾
