Wag Central is a multi-service dog care facility offering daycare, boarding, grooming and more! Now Open - become part of our canine culture hub!

Find your bark and get your wag on. To ensure the health and safety of all pups attending Wag, We require a veterinarian certificate proof of the following vaccinations: DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella, and Leptospirosis, as well as a negative f***l (ova, parasites and giardia) within 6 months. We ask that all 4-legged clients be free of fleas and ticks. Personality profiles are also done to get to know

Happy Howl-idays!
This holiday season, we’re paws-itively reflecting on the joy, belly rubs, and all the times your pups made us laugh out loud. We’re so grateful to be part of your dog’s life—and yours! Here’s to more snuggles, more zoomies, and more moments where we’re all asking, “Who’s a good dog?” Thanks for an amazing year—we’re excited to welcome 2025!

December 23rd Holiday cheer will fill the air as our pups and humans come together for a festive sing-along to all our favorite seasonal tunes on this last Musical Monday before Christmas.

December 24th Sit. Stay. Wag! We’ll work on the sit and stay command for Training Tuesday. Please note, we're closing at 5 pm for Christmas Eve.

December 25th Merry Christmas! We will be closed but staff will be on-site to care for our boarders.

December 26th It’s time for Agility Enrichment! We’ll have fun with open and closed tunnels.

December 27th It’s the return of the Latke Leap! Let us know if your pup would like to have a small pancake snack and partake in some Hanukkah fun for Gym Class Friday.

First stop, Wag Central! The only thing we love more than a good pun, is your furry friends having the best day ever with us! December 16th For Musical Monday the pups will rock to a reindeer-themed playlist, and we’ll have a special edition of Crafty Canines making mouthy masterpieces – perfect for holiday gifting!

December 17th How do you stop your pup from getting into something they shouldn’t when you’re out for a stroll? We can help! It’s Training Tuesday, we’ll work on leashing walking with a "leave it" cue.

December 18th Our Crafty Canines will be making paw print ornaments on salt dough, which we'll bake here and have ready at pickup to hang on your tree.

December 19th For Agility Enrichment, the pups will be jumping through hoops and over hurdles.

December 9th Happy Howl-idays! And we’ll be sure to hear some howling this Musical Monday with dog caroling.

December 10th Back to basics on this Training Tuesday – we’ll work on “come when called.”

December 11th "Santa Baby, slip a squeaky toy under the tree for me..." Let your pup sleigh the camera in our Santa Baby Photoshoot for Crafty Canine Day. We'll provide the seasonal props, and the pups will bring plenty of cheer for the ulti-mutt holiday treat.

December 12th Roll with it, baby! We’ll break out the skateboard, sit on the swing, and balance on the peanut for Agility Enrichment.

December 13th Grinchmas returns for Friday Fun! Wag Central will be transformed into Whoville where the pups will have fun in tunnels, take Grinch-y photos, enjoy a roast beast feast (think Thanksgiving part 2), and feel their hearts grow three sizes while we read “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

December 2nd More than just Rudolph, this Musical Monday the pups will rock to a reindeer-themed playlist. Special holiday edition of Crafty Canines, the waggers can make a paw-print Christmas tree on canvas.

December 3rd It’s Training Tuesday! We’ll work on leash pull with direction changes, to keep those pups moving the right way.

December 4th Ho ho dough! We’ll have our Bark & Bake Photoshoot for Crafty Canine Day—the waggers will pretend to whip up some paw-licious holiday magic in the kitchen. This chef's secret ingredient? A whole lot of puppy love.

December 5th For Agility Enrichment, the pups will be jumping through hoops and over hurdles.

December 6th Festive Friday Fun! We’ll have Jingle Jangle Garland Races—it’s holiday cheer with a burst of speed and plenty of wagging tails!

Eyes On The Pies 🥧
We're so thankful for all of our clients, both human and canine alike, and we love seeing you day in and day out here in our Stratford canine hub. As a token of our appreciation, we'll be giving away pies to our Wag Central community on Tuesday, November 26th—please grab one, and enjoy on us!

Friendly reminder, we will be closed for the holiday on Thursday, November 28th, but staff will be on-site to care for our boarders.

November 18th 'Tis the season for an attitude of gratitude! For Musical Monday, the pups will listen to tunes about being thankful.

November 19th For Training Tuesday, we'll be working on the place command to help pups calm down while you're eating, have guests, or have human kids playing nearby.

November 20th Our annual Thanksgiving Photoshoot, William Wegman style! Yep, we’re bringing it back again—we will take a sweet photo of your pup sitting down to a delicious Thanksgiving feast, dressed to the nines in human clothes.

November 21st It’s Agility Enrichment day, and we’ll be working on weaving with and without lead. This add-on is a great addition to your pup's physical fitness routine.

November 22nd Baby, you're a star! We will hold our own version of the National Dog Show for some Friday Fun. The waggers will show off the amazing qualities of their breed with an agility course.

November 11th Physically we’re in CT, mentally we’re in Jamaica, so we’ll listen to some reggae tunes for Musical Monday.

November 13th On Crafty Canine day, the pups will make Thanksgiving coaster turkey art, ready to display on the big day!

November 14th For Agility Enrichment, we’ll have fun with open and closed tunnels.

November 15th Gobble Gobble, Run & Wobble, it’s time for our Turkey Trot! On this Gym Class Friday, we will create a walk/jog path for the pups with pumpkin obstacles, and cheer for the winners.

November 7th It’s Agility Enrichment time! We will practice weaving. This add-on is a great addition to your pup's physical fitness routine.

November 8th Gone fishin’, Donut Fishing that is! National Donut Day was earlier this week, so we’ll celebrate in our favorite way! Yep, there are actually two National Donut Days: the first Friday in June and November 5.

Happy Hallo-week! 💀
Spooky, scary skeletons! We have a week of Halloween fun planned for the pups! View our calendar below, and follow us on Instagram for the latest news and updates.

October 28th What would Halloween be without the Rocky Horror Picture Show? The pups will be doing the “Time Warp” and listening to the soundtrack for Musical Monday.

October 29th Approaching a door or gate, a pup should sit nicely and waited. Does your pup need help with "sitting by the door"? On Training Tuesday, we'll work on this skill. This will come in handy when trick-or-treaters are ringing your bell on Thursday.

October 30th Happy Mischief Night! We will dress the pups up for a little mischief and let them run through our Halloween maze with plenty of treats to please their sniffers. We will send a video snippet of the fun!

October 31st Happy Halloween! Our Agility Enrichment activity will be spooky hoops, hurdles, and klimb course.

November 1st The pups will be Bobbing for Apples! Sure to be an apple-solutely awesome time. We will throw some hot dog chunks in too for good measure — probably doesn't sound great to us humans, but the dogs sure seem to appreciate it!

You're A Wizard, Hairy!
We had our very first Hairy, err... Harry Potter-themed photoshoot last week at Platform 9 3/4, and it was a hoot! There is a method to our madness, photoshoots not only produce an adorable result but also help with your dog's focus and reinforce calm behavior. We'll be snapping Halloween costume photos next week, will your pup join us?

October 21st Monster Mash Musical Monday, say that 3 times fast! We’ll get into the spooky spirit with a Halloween-themed playlist. And we will have a special Trick or Treat Craft! Our Crafty Canines will decorate cloth Halloween Treat bags.

October 22nd Training Tuesday is here again; we’ll work on sit into down and even throw in a “stay” for good measure.

October 23rd Our annual Halloween Costume Photoshoot! Please send your pup's costume in a bag with their name on it, we’ll handle the rest. No costume? No problem. We’ll pull one out of our bag of tricks and surprise you.

October 24th Working on core strength for Agility Enrichment with the teeter totter, balance walk, and swing.

October 14th “I'll meet you any time you want, in our Italian restaurant” — National Pasta Day is this week so the pups will listen to songs with an Italian restaurant theme for Musical Monday.

October 15th Walk the walk, and sit the sit. For Training Tuesday, we’ll work on proper leash walking techniques, including sit and focus on me.

October 16th Lil Boo Thangs Ghosty Photoshoot for Crafty Canine Day! We had so much fun with this last year, we just have to bring it back! Your pups will strike a pose in a playful ghost costume against an autumn backdrop. It’s a bit of a hit-or-miss, but always a blast!

October 17th It’s time for Agility Enrichment! We’ll have fun with open and closed tunnels.

October 18th Pup-kin Roll Races—who’s faster, your pup or a pumpkin? We’ll find out!

September 30th It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Musical Monday! In honor of National Butterfly and Hummingbird Day coming this week, the pups will listen to songs with a flying theme.

October 1st Come out wherever you are! For Training Tuesday, we’ll work on come-when-called with hide-and-seek games.

October 2nd Our Crafty Canines will decorate sugar pumpkins with their name and paw print for $10. If you’re wondering, sugar pumpkins are the little guys widely used for making pies. Yum!

October 3rd For Agility Enrichment, we’ll break out the hoops, hurdles, and wobble board to work on our fitness.

October 4th Strike! ‘Tis the season for Pumpkin Bowling. We’ll have some fun with mini pumpkins and the pups.
