Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic

Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic Reduced-cost spay/neuter services for the Stratford area - Helping pets stay healthy and in homes Ten years ago, we had a dream of reducing overpopulation.

Putting an end to the needless euthanasia of unwanted litters of cats and dogs, Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic was born. Our impact in Fairfield county has grown over the years. As we have evolved over the years, our influence and services expanded.

Today we not only provide spay and neuter services within reach of all pet owners in need, but we also offer vaccinations, and community outreach, and

education. Our incredible team cares about every animal that passes through the door; we do so with compassion and respect. Nutmeg and our team's commitment to building solid relationships through our community outreach have been honored by the Humane Society of the United States. The "Pets for Life Community Cup" award celebrates Nutmeg's efforts and the spirit of Humane Society's Pets for Life Program.

🐾💙 Why should you spay or neuter your pet?

1️⃣ Prevents unwanted litters, reducing the number of homeless animals.
2️⃣ Helps reduce certain health risks, like cancer and infections.
3️⃣ Encourages better behavior, as spayed/neutered pets tend to be calmer and less territorial.
4️⃣ It’s a simple way to show you care about your pet's well-being and the pet community.

Let’s work together to create a healthier, happier world for all animals! 🐶🐱

Our Story

Driven by a commitment to decreasing the number of euthanized animals, Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic offers low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs across Stratford, CT, and the surrounding area. This local non-profit organization is proud to help individuals and families through convenient and affordable services. Having conducted more than 32,000 spay and neuter surgeries, clients can count on this team to properly perform this essential procedure on their furry friends. The skilled veterinarians on staff will examine animals before surgery to determine if they are fit for the operation. Post-surgery, both cats and dogs are given a tattoo on the abdomen to indicate that they are sterilized. This clinic has established themselves as an advocate for the end of unnecessary euthanasia through their affordable spay and neuter services. Their staff takes pride in bringing the issue of overpopulation to the awareness of their community to achieve real change. They work hard every day to curtail the number of litters born to strays around the region. In addition to spay and neuter surgeries, this clinic also offers pet vaccinations. Their facility is equipped with the latest technology, allowing them to conduct blood tests for feline leukemia, AIDS, and heartworms. Feel free to ask about their flea treatments, nail trims, and microchipping services. Limit the number of unwanted litters by bringing your cats and dogs to Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic. Call them today at (203) 690-1550 to schedule an appointment or visit them online for more information.
