🐾 When you're in a foster home with two perfect pitty mamas to show you the ropes and some small dogs to keep you in check...you'll be raised right!

❤️ Meet COLTON!

COLTON is just a pup! Our best guess is that he's a Malamute/Pyr Mix. He is about 4.5 months and weighs 49 lbs. He'll be a big boy all grown up!

COLTON looooooves the water! He's athletic but not hyper. He is already crate trained and sleeps peacefully throughout the night, too!

COLTON loves all the other dogs in his foster home...he is playful but respectful. Due to his size it's easy to forget how young he is...he is actually quite mature for his age!

His foster mom is working on confidence building when meeting other dogs in public public...when he's alone, he is not quite as sure of himself as he is when he's with his crew.

COLTON is a real schmoozer with everyone he meets...you just can't help but fall in love!

Looking for an amazing family this amazing pup. He already has such a solid foundation to build off of. It's easy to see that he will mature at a more rapid rate than most puppies (like an old soul) and will turn into one of those "once in a lifetime" kind of dogs!

😍 We got him! He’s all spruced up and ready to go off to his foster (hopeful forever) family!

Welcome ROCCO to Murphy's Paw Rescue! And as always thank you to the amazing women at Shelton Animal Shelter for trusting us to help their dogs in need!

His initial vet exam/vaccines is this week and then neutering on Nov. 21st!

Working together is the only way to make a real difference!

⭐️ UPDATE: FOSTER FAMILY FOUND! Thank you for the overwhelming response! Will update everyone tomorrow!

Immediate foster family needed for very sweet male Boxer about 7 months old.

We are picking him up from the shelter tomorrow. He is an owner surrender/moving out of state. Shelter staff says he is super super sweet, friendly with all. Will need to be able to take to two vet appointments (initial exam/vaccines and for his neuter).

We have a long list of new intakes we will be posting next week ...but surely we can find room for this sweet guy, too!

⭐️ UPDATE: Ok…wow!!! We received a ton of really nice looking apps! We will be working on them today!

❤️ Meet BENJAMIN!

Shoot! We thought we had the most perfect home for Benji but I guess it was just too good to be true. The meet and greet was cancelled…so it was not anything that Benji did…just a change of heart.

He is available still and we want nothing but the best of the best for this super sweet and special boy.

BENJAMIN is full of personality and his tail is always wagging! He is a male Dachshund, about 7-8 years old and weighs 24 lbs.

BEJAMIN is wonderful with dogs of all sizes, cats, men, women and kids! He is pretty much totally unfazed by anything…he’s just so happy and so grateful to have stability and a safe place to be.

He is scheduled for a full dental cleaning and extractions on Nov. 21st but he can be adopted well before then…his dental will be paid for by Murphy’s Paw Rescue. His wellness exam and bloodwork was perfect!

This is a GREAT dog!

Neutered/Vaccinated.

❤️ Meet MISTLETOE!

Ok, this girl is just special…you can’t deny it. There’s no way this video didn’t make you smile!

MISTLETOE is a gentle, mild mannered, snuggle bug who is just so grateful to have a safe place to land. Ohhh…and she SMILES!

She is a beautiful pitty girl, about 5 years old and weighs about 52 lbs.

She has excellent house manners and is totally housetrained, too! Easy on the leash and is just a total house hippo.

MISTLETOE has had a very very rough life up until now…and she is more than ready to be treasured in her forever family.

MISTLETOE needs to be your one and only…she came from a place where she was forced to breed and was living among many neglected/mistreated dogs. Understandably, she would prefer to be in peace without other dogs in home.

Spayed/Vaccinated.

‼️ This is an urgent plea for SIENNA!

SIENNA is in need of immediate placement. We will not tolerate any harsh comments. The decision for her family to re-home her is supported by professionals.

SIENNA is pretty great actually...

✓ Loves attention from people

✓ Great with dogs her size or larger

✓ Great with cats

✓ Potty Trained

✓ No need for a crate (totally trust worthy), but has no issues with a crate if preferred

✓ Healthy and up to date on all vetting

✓ Easy going and lower energy

SIENNA is a 10 year old female Black Lab/Boykin Spaniel Mix (DNA tested) and weighs 45 lbs. She may be considered a senior, but acts like a healthy 5 year old dog!

SIENNA is in a home with a toddler and there is another baby on the way. Unfortunately, SIENNA is not comfortable with little kids and needs to be in a home with kids 10+. She is slower to warm up with men but is not aggressive with them. She has no bite history but has become increasingly nervous with the toddler in the home, and with another baby on the way SIENNA is not in the best environment to match her needs.

If anyone can find it in their heart to welcome SIENNA into their home so that she can relax again and feel comfortable in her environment it would be amazing!

As you can imagine, this decision is not an easy one and the family is distraught. With the help of professionals, they have come to this conclusion in order to do right by SIENNA.

❤️ Meet ROCCO & SKEETER!

This bonded pair of boys are arguably the sweetest, most kickback and lovable little guys anyone could ever hope for.

Sadly their owner has severe dementia and could no longer care for them. Thankfully her family members reached out for help and they are now safe in foster.

ROCCO and SKEETER are middle aged chihuahua mixes who are about 4-6 years old. These two are a very special pair and deserve an equally special home.

Please note, we will only adopt them out as a duo.

They are now up to date on vet care, neutered and ready for adoption. They are wonderful with other pets, people and they don't have a mean bone in their bodies.

Potty and crate trained, too! They are seriously perfect!

We know it's not everyone's preference to adopt two dogs at once...but these two make it so easy to fall in love.

As our vet stated...these adoptables are not our usual suspects! No Chi Mixes...No Pit Mixes? Don't worry...we have plenty of those kind of cuties also almost ready for adoption, too!

We realize many of these dogs will draw a lot of interest. Some are noted as "Adoption Pending" and that means there are several wonderful applications already in for that particular dog and we are no longer accepting applications.

⭐️ UPDATE: ARI ADOPTED!

❤️ Poor ARI (look closely…lower…lower…). She’s the little cutie poking her nose out from under the couch…

This pic was taken right after her foster mom needed to wipe something off her paw.

Since she’s afraid of the leash, you can understand why a fenced in yard will make ARI’s life much easier!

Yes, she is sensitive to certain things…but when she’s not going through these little episodes she is so super loving, affectionate, playful and adorable!

She looks big in her pics, but she is only about 35 lbs. and is around 2 years old. Our best guess is that she is some sort of Border Collie/Cattle Dog Mix...but we really have no idea! WEDNESDAY is exceptionally smart and is a dog that really connects. She is still a little timid (not aggressive) with humans, but at the same time her loyalty and eagerness to be cared for really shines through. WEDNESDAY is great with other dogs and has the natural ability to read other dogs incredibly well. She would be fine as an only dog or living in a home with other dogs. WEDNESDAY'S intelligence will be really fun to tap into! She is going to make an amazing dog for a very lucky adopter! Spayed/Vaccinated. Located in private foster in CT. RAWLEY is a super smooshy pup, loooooooves to cuddle...a true companion dog. Don't get us wrong, he LOVES to play, too...but he's just got a super snuggly sweetness about him that'll just melt your heart! RAWLEY has a naturally docile and easy demeanor. Rose has totally settled in with us and it feels like she’s been here forever, it’s crazy how time flies! Rose’s new favorite thing is waiting at the bus stop with Benji in the morning and loves riding in the car. Rose is also doing great meeting new people! Thank you again for watching her while we were in Florida, we’ll keep the updates coming!” Way to go ROSE!!!
