GUESS WHAT⁉️ Spike and Roger asked if their adoption fees could be waived, too... and how in the world are we supposed to say no to these faces?! 😍
There's no doubt in our minds that Spike and Roger will provide their families with a ridiculous amount of love and joy... because, well, that's exactly what they've done with our team. While both of these boys are super endearing and easy to love, they do have some medical waivers that have likely deterred families from scooping them up.
To help make their dreams of home come true, we're grateful for the ability to waive their adoption fees for the right families ♥️
SPIKE: If you've ever had the privilege of playing tug with Spike, you've likely been like, "Wait, this guy is almost 11 years old?" We're pretty confused, too. While his adorable face suggests he's an older gentleman, he's got a ton of pep in his step and is always—and we mean ALWAYS—down for some fun. Spike has chronic kidney disease, which is managed with a prescription diet. We understand prescription food can be more expensive than regular dog food, so we are prepared to send Spike home with more than 140 meals.
ROGER: If you're looking for a sensitive boy who's in tune with how you're feeling, Roger could be your guy. At 7 years old and 34 pounds, this guy leads with his heart and really appreciates calm environments and quiet moments. This little guy has an autoimmune disease called Masticatory Myositis. It first caused the muscles he uses to chew to become swollen and sore. Over time, those muscles have shrunk and become thinner. The sunken areas on Roger’s head show that he has been dealing with this condition for a while. He will need a family that's comfortable with frequent vet checks to monitor his progress and response to treatment.
Our Adoption Center will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) and closed Wednesday and Thursday. We're located at 104 Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham, NH. Spike and Roger hope to see you tomorrow! ♥️
