We were able to celebrate such an amazing milestone yesterday for this wonderful woman! 25 years ago on October 23rd Michelle started at Sutton Road Animal Hospital. She has been one of the most important people here at the hospital and she truly keeps us all going and everything running smoothly as our practice manager. We really would be so lost without her! Congratulations Michelle on your 25th work anniversary. Here's to many more years of your excellence. We love you!

As we approach the 4th of July, a few reminders for your pets:

-NOW is the time to call to get their sedation/anxiety medications refilled.

-More pets get lost on the 4th of July than any other day of the year. If your dog is nervous or scared of fireworks, keep them on a leash at all times when outside and limit their time outdoors.

-Create a safe place indoors for them to find comfort. Close doors and windows to muffle the noise. Also, try calming music, turning the TV on or even a white noise machine.

-Lastly, make sure your pet has a current tag with your most recent information on it and microchip in them in case a collar should happen to fall off. If you are unsure if your pet has a microchip or if the information is current please call today to have us scan your pet.

On this day 24 years ago, Shellie Splinter worked her 1st shift at Sutton Road Animal Hospital. From kennel maintenance, to receptionist, to assistant, to head assistant, to now co-practice manager she's enjoyed all of her time here at Sutton Road. Here's to 24 years and hopefully 24 more.

We had the privilege of welcoming this handsome boy to Sutton Road yesterday. Everyone day hello to Tukker. He's a 3 year old American Bully and he stole all of our hearts and check out his heart he wears everyday. Love his marking.
